I dunno. I guess I got to see again, but I was very underwhelmed first time, in theaters, I believe, simply for Edgar Wright. Knew nothing about comic or whatever based on. I’ll just usually see most Wright stuff since Shaun.

I'm with you on this. I blind purchased the BD because I'm a huge Edgar Wright fan. "Shaun of the Dead", "Hot Fuzz" and "The World's End" are perfection. But this one did absolutely nothing for me. I even tried watching it again a few years ago and turned it off. Sorry fans, I really wanted to love it.

I didn't even know what a "Dolby Cinema" was, but damn, that was a nice picture and the sound was fantastic. Well worth the drive. That's probably going to be my go-to for big movies from now on.

It's AMC's answer to IMAX. Premium sight and sound.

Yeah, Dolby Cinema is legitimately great. Best theatrical experience from a sight & sound aspect. Seats are ok, but not as good as Cinemark or Drafthouse seats, in my opinion.
I don't mind paying for DC for the biggest of big movies, but otherwise I prefer to go to my local Drafthouse instead.

It's the theatrical version of 4K Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

Truly it was the only reason why I went to see it in the theater last weekend. Unless they are putting it on a premium screen that I can't duplicate at home, my home setup is fine to watch a movie I've seen at least a half a dozen times. It's a lesson I've learned from some of those Fathom movies I attended.

You all have talked me into it. I bought a single ticket to see it tomorrow afternoon at our local Dolby Cinema. Only my second movie-going experience since the pandemic (saw Tenet in IMAX). Looking forward to this.

Very cool movie experience. Holds up really well. Sounded great too.

I love the re-release poster

It does feel like this came out a little before it's time in terms of nerd culture taking over, so maybe that's it? Also the cast is (or maybe the more appropriate word is has become) basically nerd movie heaven.
