Seriously, you sound like a truly screwed up person. I understand young kids picking on you when you were younger, because that is what children do. I would guess most kids got picked on at some point in their childhood. But for an adult to go and track down those who picked on him in the 5th freaking grade, and then beat them up or bite their noes off, is completely insane. And seem proud about it? In fact, your entire post sound like the rantings of a soon to be uni bomber. Hell, those kids probably didn't even remember you, and you are tracking them down? You should have spent time in prison if what you are saying is true, and not just more of your internet tough guy posts. And if it is true, you should be spending some serious couch time with a psychiatrist. I don't know that I have lost any respect due to an actors weight gain, maybe a WTF if it is really bad.

I do, however, lose some for those that went the other way seeking some weird skinny ideal body image. Guys tend to either stay the same or get bigger and tend to come under less criticism.

Female actors, on the other hand, certainly have it tougher when it comes to body image. Renee Zellweger, Jennifer Connelly and Angelina Jolie come quickly to mind. They went from what I would consider normal body types (and looking great) to near skeletor looks. Why do I lose respect? Like it or not, they are role models to some, and are likely to be an influence on some young females to try and achieve an unhealthy body image.

I'm in mourning over Jennifer Connelly ever since she either did breast reduction surgery, lost tons of weight, and/or won an Oscar. I miss the younger hot-as-hell Connelly when she not only looked better shapelier, but she wasn't so self-conscious and serious in her roles after she won her Oscar.

All situations are different, but the main cause of obesity is from over eating. There might be some physiological issues like in Lemmy's case, but even in his crazy rant, he says 'I've never chosen to be fat, not ever, even though I am.', but then talks about eating like a horse and never leaving the house.

If all my favorite leading men got fat, it'd be horrible. I like actors for a multitude of reasons, namely their talent. But if some 300lb'er started swinging from rooftops and fucking the most gorgeous girl in the planet I wouldn't buy it. Some films require "Hollywood" screen presence (Tom Cruise) and it's not racist (whoever said that earlier is an idiot).

That said, I don't think it's a cause for concern. It's not like you can just go off naming people who lost their stardom due to their weight. Alec Baldwin's career has never been better really, though I would have like to have seen him do some more action when he was in his prime, Kilmer as well. Brando is excluded since he was probably insane before the weight gain, and that should have been people's concern.

I love fat people, btw. I dont give a shit how they got bigger, I just feel like as an audience member, you can't expect me not to notice. Leading men work out constantly to look good for the audience, so when they stop, who is to say nothing needs to be said about it?

Dude, let it go. He was simply stating that he posted the pic with his daughter's permission and they both felt it was safe because there's no way in hell any of us would find her save for random chance.

In the end, he's a proud dad with a very pretty daughter. End of story.

As for his other demons, yes, they're (extremely) dark but he's doing his all to ensure that she doesn't ever walk in his shoes. So I applaud him for that.

I saw that yesterday. Loved it.

I lost all respect for Christian Bale when I was watching the special features for Batman Begins and learned that he got fat while he was bulking up for the role of Batman. Thankfully that respect was instantly restored when they talked about how he quickly trimmed the fat. Phew, that was a close call!

I hope all of you Fat Haters marry SO's that chunk up so bad you have to wipe their ass and clean their bed sores.
