Mo'nique deserves hers imo, she was the highlight of Precious, even if it was a mostly one note performance until the last 10 minutes.
I will never understand the acclaim Lee Daniels got for it, he did a pretty damn sloppy job outside of the acting.
Still, this isn't the same as "Three-Six Mafia: 1, Martin Scorscese: 0"

Stallone was a pleasant surprise in Cop Land, and Willis has turned in several fine performances over the years - Pulp Fiction, 12 Monkeys, The Sixth Sense, etc. None were necessarily Oscar-worthy, but he's not a flat-out laughable suggestion like Arnold.

DiCaprio is award worthy for sure. Not sure who he went up against in the years he was nominated for. Willis and Stallone have both turned in pretty good acting roles as mentioned previously. BUT.......when the fuck did Schwarzenegger turn in an award worthy performance? I mean, I love him to death...probably my fav action hero for sure but...I haven't seen anything that would get him an award.

Actually, putting money on it would at least make some sense. I like to bet on the occasional long-shot. I actually formed these predictions quite some time ago, and was too lazy to revise the list that I copied and pasted into this thread. Christopher Waltz is going to have a new paperweight by the end of the night. (Still too lazy to revise!)

So, I went 10-7 on the night, and I feel pretty good about my record. For one, this is the first year I've paid any attention at all since Letterman hosted. If I hadn't been lazy, I'd have revised my picks to Christoph Waltz for Supporting Actor and gone 11-6. Finally, Roger Ebert missed a couple, and I got one of the ones he missed (Cinematography), and we both picked the same nominee in the other category (Coco avant Chanel for Costume Design).
I wasn't aware that disliking someone and their movie entitled you to decide how to spell their names or titles.
