Looks like a mental abortion. Seems like Bay is bound and determined to keep the Transformer aspect of his Transformers movie to minimum. If it weren't for the whole Michael Bay tagline, there was not indicator this was even an entry until the very end.

I think the point was to keep the Transformers in the trailer to a minimum, hence it being called a "teaser."

Don't get me wrong. I will give this one a chance. I really liked the first one, and the second one started strong and had a good middle action sequence, but for the most part it sucked. The problem I have is Bay seems to treat the robots themselves as afterthoughts and FX to fill the background. I would really have liked to at least see Optimus somewhere in this spot.

Yeah, there really wasn't much to see. Just a small teaser. I'll see it.

A little off topic: I kinda like the new animated series "Transformers Prime". I thought the first 5 eps put together a pretty good story, and it's good to have Welker doing Megatron again (along with Cullen still doing Optimus) :up:

The current rumour is that although Ehren Krueger is billed as the sole writer on the script, Speilberg came up with the story for this one.

I can almost guarantee that teaser will be more interesting and exciting than the finished product. I hope I'm wrong.

For me, he's 0 for 2 based on the first two teasers. Felt the same way both times when it came to the trailers - until I saw the movies. Not doing this again a third time. I'm sure I'll watch it in time, just not opening weekend or anything close to that.

well the 1st one I enjoyed. The 2nd one I loated EXCEPT for the prologue battle sequence...but then story plot gets thrown in and it all goes to hell.

I hope 3 is "good"

Ok, that was pretty awesome. Loved the first film, enjoyed the action of the second film, so far this seems like it could have more story and be the best of the 3.

1) Guaranteed this is going to be another Michael Bay pile of shit.
2) It will make huge bank.
3) It'll be big, loud and dumb... another 'popcorn flick' that the mouth breathers/fan boys will eat up.
4) I'll probably buy the BD on release day. :sad:

The crashed ship reminds me of the Autobot ship base in the original Transformers. At least the way it was crashed into a mountain with the end hanging out like that. :p
