Amazing how all of the hype around TF3 is about the love interest. Since when was Transformers about any of this crap?

It is since we have realized that Transformers is all about the characters, and we're never going to get answers about the origin of the robots and other mysteries.

Granted..Transformers wasn't a cartoon w/ a lot of "depth" but it gave you the questions and answers you wondered about..you know....how the fuck these things exist, their war, who's in it, how it's ravaged Cybertron, how no matter what that war just won't end...etc etc. And it was good TV for kids.

I'm still trying to grasp how/why Sam is everyone's Constant. And what are the rules exactly? Only Prime can kill the Fallen but the Fallen can't kill Prime directly. He had to get Ben - err - Megatron to do it for him because Prime can't kill Megatron it seems. Yet Sam can kill Megatron, who can in turn kill Sam? And what's the deal with the temple and Mikaela's horse?

I'm at a loss.

I mean who am I to ever criticize somebody's looks, especially a models, but when you make your living as a model then you're open to all the criticism in the world.

I'm sorry, but that girl is ugly. If Bay was really worried about Megan Fox being too thin, this girl looks like she weighs 85 lbs and isn't even close to as pretty as Megan Fox. I don't know what the real story is but it has to be something other than replacing Megan Fox with a "curvier" girl cuz this girl aint that.

Add to the fact that this girl also has no acting experience, I would have gone with Brooklyn Decker. She is drop dead gorgeous and has the curvy look that Bay is supposedly going for.

I never saw the House Bunny but I looked up pictures of Sarah Wright and she blows away the new girl too in all aspects plus she's a real actress.

I actually liked the first 2 Transformers but I hope this one bombs just because Michael Bay is a frickin moron. Of all the hot pieces of ass he could have chosen, with or without acting experience, he goes with a girl with no experience and about a 3 on the hot scale. I'm serious, apparently she's a Victoria's Secret model, but I haven't found one picture that would even make me look twice at her and many of them would actually cause me to look away.

She looks kinda frail. If someone told me she broke a leg simply by running down the street I probably wouldn't doubt them.

Maybe that's how they'll write off Mikaela. Finally this terrible casting makes sense.

Instead of the whole business of re-casting the love interest, they should just bring back Rachael Taylor and her character from the first film.

I thought he said Transporter 3 as well. BTW, what does shooting a gun like a cop have to do with the girlfriend role in Transformers (it was supposed to be TF)? New Mikalea takes down Megatron shooting him in the shin? For a TF audition, it should have had her running around dodging things and a few stunt falls/rolls. Also should have been in a tight outfit bending over a car.
