Battlestar Galactica is a prequel to all of them.

Actually, it could be a flock of sequils.

I saw T3 in theaters, and I'm not prone to hallucinations, so I'm pretty sure it happened.

Spoilers for the last season of BSG and current episodes of Lost:

Spoiler:
Actually it goes: Matrix --> BSG --> Lost --> Terminator

Matrix is the Earth of the 13th tribe. that's how the "humans" were able to interact with the Matrix and act as a fuel source for the machines, because they're actually Cylons.

Then BSG sees Cylons disguised as humans nuking the human population, and the remaining humans settle "our" Earth.

Thousands of years later, "all of what happened before, happens again", as the machines nuke the human population, and use machines disguised as humans to wipe out the survivors.

Lost is actually a side story explaining how Sky-Net, a product of CyberDyne Systems (which is a subsidiary of Widmore Industries) developed time travel. The "ghosts" on Lost are actually Head-Baltar and Head-Six attempting to guide humanity away from it's war with the machines. Smoke Monster? T-1001 sent back to ensure Sky-Net gets time travel.

C'mon, is spelled out, plain as day: The Architect explaining everything was a loop. Battlestar Galactica, "All of this has happened before, all of it will happen again.". Lost: "Whatever happened, happened". Terminator: "I'll be back" (ie. it'll happen again). It's obvious!!!11! They are all dayquils, er. sequels.!!!1!"

You know what my favorite part of Deliverance is?

When the redneck is telling Ned Beatty to "sequil like a pig!"

Not this time around but in 20 years when hollywood remakes them the new versions of course will all tie in together.

I'm positive I've seen this thread before. Minus the spelling errors, of course.

In the same way that Wall Street is a sequel to Citizen Kane.

No, Terminator is a sequel to Battlestar Galactica. Matrix is a sequel to Tron.

Re: Is The Matrix actually a sequil to Terminator

It's all part of the Matrix, man. We're all in our pods, feeding the machines and thinking we're in 2009 salivating over the new Star Trek movie. None of this is real. If we could only open our eyes. If only Neo could free us...

The only thing The Matrix got right was the part about humans being a virus ....

For me, the spelling errors were what made it seem familiar.

The two story lines could plausibly coexist in the same universe...

Forget these clowns. If you want it to be a sequel then it's a sequel.

Nice thought. I want WALL-E to be a sequel to The Passion Of The Christ. And since I want it to be, then be it must.

I always said WALL-E had a strong antisemitic undercurrent. And since I want it to be, then be it must.

OT, but I'd love to see a prequil to The Matrix, as long as it's not anti-semitic!
