Yet, you felt compelled to post in a thread about it.

It should say "Black in Time".

I understand Will Smith is essentially the star of the series but I liked the fact that he and TLJ got equal billing in MIB and MIIB.. Not a big fan of the poster.

I hope this isn't a case of where Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith are split up for a good deal of the movie like in the second. It worked best when they were on screen at the same time.

From the trailers and whatnot it seems that TLJ will be playing second-fiddle to Brolin. I thought a majority of the film took place in the 60s.

I think TLJ will be an over-glorified cameo in this one. Hopefully that won't suck as much thanks to Brolin filling in the gap.

Re: "Men in Black" gearing up for third edition

I love this series...Just my kind of dry humour and it just has a style of its own.....yes, 2 wasn't that great but it still worked. This one looks hilarious, Brolin's line at the end of the trailer was pretty damn funny - sounds just like TLJ.

Okay, I'm down with this. Looks as fun as the first.

Re: "Men in Black" gearing up for third edition

Liked what I saw as well but...yeah like others said, screen time with TLJ was like 5 seconds. I really hope it's not a "I'm in the beginning and ending but not the middle" situation. Hell maybe he'll even meet himself.

It also reminds me of Toy Story in a way. Now I love them all, but in every one of those movies, Buzz Lightyear is incapacitated to some degree, such that Woody or the rest of the gang have to accomplish their main mission as well as deal with Buzz's problems. Necessary for story purposes, but would be cool to see them operate at "full capacity."

That looks like the film number 2 should have been. Still sucks that TLJ is gonna barely be in it.

Re: "Men in Black" gearing up for third edition

That trailer is all sorts of awesome. It looks absolutely nothing like MIB2. I'm surprised that they may have actually gotten this right.

My only quarrel is what's been echoed. It doesn't look like TLJ is in much besides the beginning.

I don't think there has even been a movie that I wanted to see less than this one. Big pass.

At least they're replacing him with Josh Brolin, who I'm a really big fan of. Looks like he's going to be really good in this.

I think this will be pretty fun.

Seriously? You wanted to see Cruel Intentions 2 more than this? American Psycho 2? How about:

Jack and Jill
Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star
From Prada to Nada
Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1
Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked
The Smurfs 3D

Is it just me, or is Will starting to show his age?
