I am very interested to fans who bought the DVD in December of The Dark Knight and how they feel.

I loved the movie in the theater, gushed about it as one of the best Superhero movies ever, and then saw it again on DVD, and I have to say, I may have to retract those statements.

I still think it is a good movie, but when you love a movie and first get it on DVD, you watch and watch the hell out of it. I watched it once, and then tried watching it again, and it just isn't holding the replay value I thought it would.

Interested in others opinions...

It did not need a new thread. That's my thought on it.

I loved it more when i got it on Blu-Ray. I had already heard so much hype before seeing it in theaters that it could not possibly have met those expectations at that time.

This is the GREATEST FILM OF ALL TIME. If anything, we don't have enough threads on the film. In fact, in honor of Heath Ledger we should have a moratorium on any threads NOT related to TDK.

As far as I know, it isn't OK for anyone to create a duplicate thread. It's been that way in the 9 years I've been here. Be prepared for the onslaught when you do, which is why I search like a mother before I create a thread and that's the way it should be.

I saw the film in theaters a couple of times in its original run. Bought the dvd when it came out, but still havent watched it yet. I have a fear that maybe I built it up too much in my memory, for some reason. Maybe it is all the hype around the oscars for Heath, i dont know. I will most likely watch it sooner rather than later.

I think we need a Dark Knight thread to discuss which Dark Knight thread in the forum is the best and another thread to discuss which one is the worst. Both threads should have polls and started by abe55.

Agreed. I complained about this because lately, almost every one is doing whatever the fuck they want and there is no order like there was before IB took over. Still, I was called attacked by other members for trying to keep a little order and less duplicity.

please do not defend me. i can be guilty of the same crimes from time to time, albeit contrary to popular belief, not purposefully. i just got irked lately and wanted to say something.

The moderators haven't changed. Acting like it's different because of IB is silly, let alone believing that there was "order" before. People have always created duplicate topics. That's not going to change any time soon.
