another Departed/Blood Diamond-esque year for Leo... I feel like this and Shutter Island will both be big box-office draws with good performances from this generation's Bobby DeNiro***

I dunno...Ed Norton's been kinda mum in his roles...and I haven't really been astounded by him in a while. DiCaprio has really grown as an actor since Gangs of New York. It seems like when he started w/ Scorsese he really grew as an actor. Thank God for that. I hated him before his Scorsese work...totally overrated back in the 90s.

Has Chris Nolan done any writing 100% on his own? I know Memento was his screenplay based on his brothers story...

You can't say Leo > De Niro until you get to Leo's fifties and sixties and see if he becomes a parody of himself the way De Niro has.

Well, I can understand if you don't think he's in the same ball park as DeNiro. But DiCaprio continues to astound me. The kid just keeps getting better as time goes on. Is "Shutter Island" and "Inception" his only two major releases in 2010? When will this guy get his Oscar? Ditto with Ed Norton. My favorite actor!

well...if he keeps working with Scorsese it might happen.

The teaser for this movie is intriguing, but gives me no idea as to what it is about aside from it being freaky and of the sci-fi genre.

It's Christopher Nolan, all of his movies are story before special effects, I doubt this will be any different. |

De Niro lost it after he stopped working with Scorsese, so I'm not sure what that comment is meant to mean.
