TCM is up there now if anyone desires that choice. personally, i liked 1 and 2 was surprisingly fun. the rest i can barely stand and i do have to check out the remake again, but 1st time it was merely ok.

Friday the 13th.
Regardless of the quality some of the latter films have shown, I grew up on this series. I've been a huge fan of Jason since I was a little kid, and he's always been my favorite slasher by a mile.

A few years back I would have said Nightmare on Elm Street. I fairly recently rewatched them, and didn't enjoy them as much. I'm going to go with Evil Dead, as it's so over the top that I enjoy every second of them. I'm going to revisit the Friday the 13th series soon, and they may take top billing.
Romero films never really did anything for me, same with the Halloween series.

I voted the Nightmare series simply because that was when I first started getting into horror. True, some of the sequels didn't hold up so well with time, but Freddy still holds a special place in my heart.
But all of the franchises you mentioned have their ups and downs and I love them all almost as much.

It was a hard choice for me... got it down to Halloween, Friday and Evil Dead which just made it harder lol..... in the end had to go with Evil Dead, as much as I love the others Bruce Campbell wins it for me

I voted Romero...only because I love the Living Dead/Zombie Genre. I think Romero has lost it as far as being the King of Living Dead films. I didn't care that much about any of the other series listed.
Now, I will add Horror/Action series....UNDERWORLD(3 films)
