Movies with the same names?
Does it tick you off when movie studios can't come up with original titles for their movies?
This is not counting remakes or sequels.
There are 2 versions of "Crash"
The one with James Spader and car accidents in 1997 and the Oscar winner with Don Cheadle a couple years ago
Also there is a new Scifi movie called Push with Dakota Fanning and another movie named Push with Mariah Carey about drugs.
Do Hollywood executives bother to look imdb.com to see if a movie title was used before and maybe come up with an original title?

Doesn't really bother me at all, though it is noticeable.
I'll add Crossroads. One features Ralph Macchio and is about Blues. The other features Britney Spears and is about a girl wanting to know about her mom who she never met.

Does Brain Dead and Braindead count? I know one was changed for American audiences but fuck it, it should still count. EDIT: I know there is like 12 films named Chaos and 27 films named The Girl Next Door.

Back in the days of VHS rentals, I once thought I was getting this:
and I got this by mistake:
I was a bit confused at first and then a bit pissed.

Riot, (The) Heist, Unforgiven, Twilight, No Way Out, (The) Power, Under Fire, and if you want to count Geronimo... All with Gene Hackman in one version.

The Fast and the Furious
Fast and Furious
Talk about original!
There are also six movies called Moulin Rouge, although the Nicole Kidman one has an exclamation mark at the end.

It's a little off-topic, but the movie 10 Items or Less was released in the US during the same week the unrelated TV series of the same name debuted.
