Your favorite WTF moments in movies
I'm watching Horton Hears a Who for the 50,000 time with my kids. And I have no idea why they sing "Can't Fight This Feeling" at the end. None. Makes no sense. But it makes me chuckle.
I think the same thing about "Aquarius" at the end of 40 Year-Old Virgin and "Afternoon Delight" in Anchorman. Amusing things that come out of nowhere.
I'm not talking about stupid things in movies. I'm talking about those random moments that you enjoy from some of your favorite films.

Ironic
You must be trying to describe a feeling similar to the one I have now after clicking on this thread and reading it.
Sort of a 'why the hell is this even here' type of thing.

May I present to you, the most ridiculous, out of nowhere scene of all time.
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/wqKFadyJxwg&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/wqKFadyJxwg&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
"Not this year!"
Some of my favorites:
About 80% of Silent Night, Deadly Night.
ED-209 going berserk in the board room in RoboCop.
The "Tutti fuckin' Frutti!" scene in The Devil's Rejects.
William Forsythe acting like Yosemite Sam auditioning for the Joe Pesci role in Goodfellas in Out for Justice. Nothing tops his final confrontation with Seagal.
The entire third act of Commando, up to and including Arnold getting his hands on Bennett. No, make that the whole freaking movie. He tosses a phone booth at somebody.
One WTF moment that scared the living shit out of me in the theater, in The Departed
Zack and Miri Make a Porno

not if you saw "Infernal Affairs" prior to the remake. I remember waiting for it to happen and sitting there wanting to see the look on all the old people's faces when it happened. Ah.. priceless.

Just saw another one. Watching Superman Returns, with the very gruesome scene where one of the little dogs ate the other. Bones, fur, blood and everything. WTF? Didn't expect to see that in a Superman movie.

The scene with Willem Dafoe and Laura Dern in Wild at Heart. I wish it was on YouTube (it was, but removed).
