Does JGL look... different... in that trailer?!

he looks different...in every trailer. Facial prosthetic makeup to make him look like a younger Willis. Which...is pretty good if you see a young Willis.

I'm still not down with the make-up but this movie looks like it could be a whole lot of fun.

Saw the trailer in front of Ted; really looking forward to this, and yeah, JGL definitely looks different.

Yeah, I saw the trailer before TED as well, and am kind of ticked they gave away one of the plot twists.

I'm sure you'll be stoked for it too, as long as Ebert gives it a good review.

nah looks silly to me, all the coolest moments in the trailer felt like inception, with realistic/classy action

I don't see it. Aside from white people doing things.

i've come to believe that you type the first thing that pops in your head, completely uncensored. I just want to know why you subject so many others to these thoughts?

Well the only thing that's censored is ******. Fucking racist censor.

Re: Looper (Rian Johnson, 2010): "violent and dark" sci-fi

This looks indeed amazing!

But the make up for JGL is way too distracting to me. First of all when has ever been mandatory to have actors look like eachother when playing fictional brothers or father/son or even the same character.? It's been done before without having heavy make up on an actor...

And i don't even see HOW that make up makes him look like Bruce Willis at ALL!

I would of been fine with just accepting that JGL looks like a younger version of Willis without make up.

But yeah, regardless it looks epic and i love Sci-fi stuff!

If you see a photo from like...I guess the late 70s or early 80s. They got it down for the most part.

I give the film makers a pat on the back for going that extra step. I doubt it would matter if they cast an unknown, but that JGL is such a highly recognizable actor nowdays makes people take notice of the make up and prosthetics.

Hell it's like Lau in the body suit for 'Running on Karma'. If the film is a good as that one is, you forget about and don't even notice it as the film goes by. And that body suit was really something...
