Despite very vocal speculation, is the Riddler even confirmed as the next villain?

No. Nothing about this film is confirmed other then John/Chris Nolan are writing, and Chris is directing. So pretty much other then the fact that "Team Nolan" (Wally, Emma, Hans, etc...) are making the film, they start filming in April 2011 and release it in July 2012, nothing is official.

Been reading around and the speculation is we'll get something a week or so after Comic Con like they did with The Dark Knight in 2007.

Kunis is too cute to be Catwoman.
And I really like Kunis.
You're seriously gonna take the word of "a reliable inside source with a studio casting grid"? That could be anyone.

I just finished reading the Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns" amazing comic. I can now see how Nolan's film carry the same feel. Anyways if they ever do a movie based on that they could even use Jack Nicholson as the Joker since its based years into the future when everyone is old already.
...just a thought

They also can't call it The Night Rider (yes, he's been called that) cos, well, you know...
And the Caped Crusader was already used in TDK (during the restaurant scene) just to get it out of the way, I reckon.

I know. That's why I said that I believe they mentioned the name in TDK to give it lip service and get it out of the way so no one'd expect it as the title of the next movie.

Yeah..lol. Would've been neat if The Joker commented that Bats must be the world's greatest detective or something along those lines.
If anything. I want more dark ambushes and detective work from Bats.

I wanted R'as Al Ghul to say "well done, detective" when Bruce said the line about cheap parlor tricks to conceal his identity towards the tail end of BB.
