I saw the trailer for this when I saw Death Race yesterday. I'm surprised that Lions Gate took over distribution of the film.

Anyways, it's a definite watch for me. Like pretty much all of Statham's films, they are guilty pleasures. Looking forward to Crank 2 as well.

Statham fan here too and will be there opening night too. The first 2 were entertaining enough (if not a little far-fetched at times), so I'm sure this will be right up there as well.

Loved the first, hated the second. Like someone already said, I hope it's more like the first.

I was looking forward to Transporter 3, but this looks more like a sequel to Crank.

Looks good! Always nice to have extra time with Frank.

Didn't we already have a thread for this?

Aside form the "deadline", it doesn't feel like another Crank to me at all. I like how the fights seem to have a harder feel to them this time around. I just hope the French cop is back in this one as well.

If I get the last chapter of my book (that was due last week) done today, I'm treating my self to this show tonight!

Saw this at a sneak. It's even more mindless than the second. Truly a turn your brain off movie. The plusses are Jason is hotter than ever, man is he ripped and sexy. The girl is pretty damn sexy too. Loved seeing someone with freckles as the babe. There's one decent fight in a garage. The French policeman is back. There are loud cars and explosions and guns.T-Bag

The minuses are many but a few are the babe is a bad actress (but she's cute and hot enough it doesn't really matter), cars and water don't mix, T-bag, strip-tease scene, listing the items of a meal, etc.

Overall I enjoyed it. Just go in knowing not to look for logic or a good plot or believeable action. It's loud, stupid and I thought Crank was a way better film.

Ew....that's not good. I hated Crank but enjoyed the two Transporter movies. I'm gonna see this on Monday. I gotta use up all my Quantum Of Solace e-tickets somehow.

A guy I work with was telling me he was looking forward to Transporter 3 and he also recommended I rent T1 and to a lesser degree T2. I rented T1 but I haven't watched it yet.

I do know one thing, the girl in Transporter 3 is smoookin' hot.

Is it in Stratham's contract that he must remove his shirt in every movie?

BTW, since thee movies are obviously hour and a half car commercials I wish they would've stuck with the BMW rather than go to the Audi but I guess highest bidder wins.

I agree. Hopefully that comparison is way off.

Let's me get this out of the way. The bicycle chase scene? Ridiculous. The car driving sideways between the trucks? Ridiculous. The car in the dam, and the train scene? Ridiculous ridiculous. No worse than "Wanted" though. But damn was this a fun movie too. And the best of the three IMO. I liked the first, but couldn't stand the Asian girl. I hated everything about the second "Transporter". For me this had the best action and I loved the girl. And she and Statham had great chemistry. I'd give it a 7/10

I didn't much care for the Ukrainian girl in T3, and her and Frank just got too soft and doughy in the middle, like an underbaked biscuit.

Just got back from it, and enjoyed it. The car ski on 2 wheels reminded me of Knight Rider, and it only dragged for me during some of the chatty driving scenes. Awesome stunts at the end, keeping the car close to the train. T-Bag was great, though I wanted him to use his Prison Break accent.

I was taken aback when Robert Knepper used his left hand!

Robert Knepper was awesome IMO and really helped make the movie. The action was pretty damn good (a few weird editing decisions but we got some wide shots during it, so I was thankful this wasn't Quantum sytle action) and Statham was his usual badass self... the only real weak link (besides the plot but who cares right) is that they tried to cram a love story down our throat for no reason... I could even go with that if the girl wasn't ANNOYING AS FUCK. Seriously unlikeable and not nearly as hot as she thinks she is... I give it a 3/5 but if they had a different actress for the chick, it probably would have gotten a 4 from me.

If you like completely implausible, void of plot, absent any decent talent, you will like this movie. Fortunately I am one of those people so I enjoyed the hell out of this.

Couple really good fight scenes. Loved the garage fight. The chick was pretty annoying but the body was rockin. I would have hate f***ed her too.

I'm going to agree with mdc3000 and give it a 3/5. Don't watch this thinking you're getting a thinking mans action adventure. It is pure popcorn, eye candy entertainment.

I enjoyed it.

The love story was way idiotic though..she looked like a teen party girl that likes techno and Exctasy, and Frank is a trained killer?

Not quite the right combo imho lol

But I loved everything else about it. The girl talked too much though
