Spoiler:
As for Transporter 3, as long as it's good mindless fun (like the first two) and Frank does some actual transporting (unlike the second film), I'll watch it.

Kind of funny that at this point he's known as T-Bag, the one-armed pedophile that everyone loves to hate. After seeing Hitman he just seems to have a bead on playing scumbag characters.

Comingsoon.net has the release date at November 26,2008. Seems a little soon if they are just starting filming.
Same sentiment as mostly everyone. First was very entertaining, second was pure garbage.
Statham needs to do something. Although I've heard good things about The Bank Job he has just done nothing but pure crap as of late. "In the Name of the King" anyone? How bout some "War" or "Crank"? Didn't think so.

And I think a lot of people liked Crank. I know I did and I'm anxiously awaiting the sequel.

I am not ashamed to admit to seeing Crank twice in theaters. The type of gloriously over-the-top and ridiculous action movie that only shows up sporadically now.
How can you NOT like a movie where the first thing you hear is "Bang Your Head (Metal Health)" and a dude goes after someone with a meat cleaver while Loverboy blasts in the background?

Anyone that takes these for more than they are doesn't appreciate a mindless action flick.
I enjoy the first two (I'm watching part 2 right now, actually) and loved Crank - I know they're making a sequel to that too.. should be a lot of fun.

Not around here. Visit the Shoot 'em Up and Smokin' Aces threads.

I hope this is more traditional action rather than some weird quick cut/CG camera scenes. I'm thinking more of the fight in the train/bus depot instead of chasing the plane down on the runway in the second.
I was going to say it's a long wait, but 4 and a half months isn't that bad. Especially since the rest of the summer movie season will probably fly by.
This isn't the same weekend as Potter, is it?

I think Crank has the most stylish direction of the three, and the most easygoing sense of humor about itself. And the casting was quite excellent.

Believe me, I love a good sex scene and that was not. That scene pretty much cemented (in my mind) how bad the movie was and I had high hopes for it.

nice
i liked #2 a lot although it wasn't as kick ass as the first
hopefully they will outdo both of them, combined, this time
it should go...
Opening Sequence
Fight
Car Chase
Fight
Car Chase
Fight during Car Chase that ends with a fight on top of cars in traffic
Love scene involving at least two hot Asian girls (that turns into a fight)
Helicopter Chase
Fight
Frank Martin takes off his suit jacket and folds it neatly
Mega Brawl/Throwdown
Final Boss Fight
Credits (that turn into a fight)

Looks pretty cool to me. I thought that 2 was a bit much (the flipping car/bomb sequence took it to far) but I didn't really see anything QUITE as unbelievable in this teaser, so I'll give it another shot. I'm a big fan of Statham as an action star.

The first "Transporter" was just o.k. I'd give it a 6/10. The second one was absolute shit. And I'd give that one a 2/10. I hope this is closer to the first.
