Best Superhero Movie Ever! (new and improved)

I just went to see a Comic Book Superhero Movie today!
And I've got to say that on second viewing The Incredible Hulk absolutely kicks ass! I love that movie. The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man have the perfect tone for a Comic Book Movie. It's a tad dark, and taken seriously, but still has a sense of whimsy and fun - entertaining as hell! Spider Man 2 and X2 were much the same, only a tad better.
But The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man are both very high on my list.

No, your not. I didn't like Begins, but The Dark Knight was amazing. I rank it second after Superman.

This is simply due to the fact that the film has given me one of the best and most vehement villains ever created for celluloid.

ok, i guess. it's just Joker doesn't have a mob mentality. usually you have one boss figure who seemingly cares for underlings and treats them well, so they wouldn't "go against the family". there is usually a higher goal whether it be money or king of the hill respect. sure you had him trying to get Moroni, the russians to think like him, kill Batman, overtake Gotham, but i don't think that was a goal for him. if it had happened i think he would still be a lone wolf and do whatever the hell he wanted to do. understanding the mafia/mob the little i do, it doesn't seem to fit.
Joker he has no rhyme or reason, couldn't care less about his minions, will pay them if they do a good job, more likely kill them (depending on his mood), but would forget about them 10 minutes later if they were alive. he doesn't have long-term goals except chaos and quell his psychotic tendencies for the moment.
by very definition "mob" is a large group. Joker is one for all and all for him. i don't see how you can equate a single entity villian, tracked by cops as the mafia.

Why post this now in the middle of the Dark Knight frenzy? Of course DK will get all the votes. I think people should at least see the film a second time before declaring it GOAT superhero film.

I cannot believe that the Burton Batman and Spider-man were not included.
The Burton Batman surpassed in such a huge way almost everything that had been done before (except Superman).
The first Spider-man has made more money that any other superhero movie made when adjusted for inflation. If you remember, it was really the breakout superhero movie for all these new generation superhero movies.
My ranking now would be
1. Dark Knight
2. Spider-man
3. Superman
4. Batman (Tim Burton)
5. Spider-man 2 (2 would have never been as good if it was not for 1)
Batman Begins was excellent but not a new experience like those above.
I'm a huge Spider-man fan but you can see from the list I loved Dark Knight. Mostly due Ledger.

Superman will always be my favorite superhero movie, probably more for sentimental reasons, but it's almost ludicrous to compare it to a movie like THE DARK KNIGHT because they exist in entirely different thematic worlds.
That having been said, in terms of quality of filmmaking and successful presentation of the material, I'd have to go in this order for my Top 5:
1. Superman
2. The Dark Knight
3. Batman Begins
4. Iron Man
5. Spider-Man 2

Superman still wins in my book. Dark Knight may have beat out Superman II, I am not exactly sure though. I really liked Iron Man, too.
I thought all the Spiderman movies were pretty much horrible, and didn't like X2.

Superman I is more like Star Wars, it is one of those movies that has that magic, works as a standalone movie, and has alot of 'it' moments. The Dark Knight is more like The Empire Strikes Back, gritty, edgy, dark, but just as powerful and just as great, but in a more hard hitting way. Star Wars and Empire are classics from the SciFi genre, and so are Superman I and The Dark Knight from the Comic Book Genre.

The Dark Knight for me was instantly more enjoyable, if for no other reason than the fact that we didn't have to get all bogged down in an origin story. We were able to hit the ground running. And it was smart that we didn't get time for a Joker origin story (yes, I realize he talked some about his backgrou). The audience is familiar enough with the character of the Joker, even if this one is much different, that we don't have to slow the story down to play catch up.
I voted for Dark Knight. I think it edged out Spider-Man 2 and X2. I like that it felt like a more serous film.
