The producer-director was notorious for a very specific type of niche film featuring distinctive special effects (of which this one isn't really an example). This film has at least one thing in common with Danger: Diabolik.

I'm feeling too lazy to check my copy right now, but that dragon reminds me of The Magic Sword, and since it was produced by Bert I. Gordon, and both movies were used on MST3K, I'm going to stick with that guess.

I'll give you some hints to help you out: The two main characters can be seen in the first pic. That pair of legs in the second pic (belonging to the star of the film) have appeared in this thread before.

Nope.
More hints: Although he directed more than fifty films, the director of this movie is mostly remembered for a handful of movies he made during the late '50s and early '60s. This film's writer is probably best known for having written a very famous film in the same genre a few years before this one.

How about Straight-Jacket (1964)?
The two actresses in the first shot are Joan Crawford and Diane Baker.
The legs in the second shot are Joan Crawford's, previously seen in this thread in shots from Rain (1932).
The director is William Castle, a longtime jouneyman director best known for his gimmick films of the late 1950s-early 1960s.
The writer is Robert Bloch of Psycho fame (although he didn't write the screenplay but the source novel).
If that isn't correct, don't I deserve some credit for making all the clues fit (kinda)?
Edit: I think we crossed posts on the exposition for the clues there, DX.

That would be the one.

You got all the clues too (
I screwed up on the Psycho clue. I should've remembered it was written by Joseph Stefano).

Edit: That's George Kennedy painting the car in the third pic, Joan Crawford again in the fourth pic, and a young Lee Majors opening the car door in the sixth pic.

The director was a two time Oscar winner, for Best Director and Best Screenplay.

We Were Strangers
Jennifer Jones won the Best Actress Oscar for The Song of Bernadette.
John Huston won Screenplay and Director Oscars for The Treasure of the Sierra Madre.
From this and your previous movie, I'm guessing you recently bought some $3.00 DVDs from Big Lots too.

Correct ...
This and The Magic Sword to go along with Frogs, To Live and Die in LA, Thunderbirds Are Go, and Still Crazy that I recognized in the thread...
