The Punisher sucked.

Ghost Rider and The Punisher were both very entertaining. I agree with most of the others on that list, although I'll admit I forgot Howard the Duck was a comic book.

Thank goodness, I've only seen 4 of those: Daredevil, Howard the Duck, Batman and Robin and Superman IV. I own B&R only because I bought the anthology set.

I was afraid that Hulk was going to be on that list. I think it's a lot better than it's reputation says it is.

From what I recall, EW gave Hulk a positive review.

I'd take Daredevil off and put in Superman 3 or Capt America.

Well...I liked The Phantom. It was the only one on the list that didn't take itself seriously and was a celebration of the corny things that we liked when we were younger.

Four words: Sharks In The Moat. If you don't get that you missed the train.

I don't know, I thought The Shadow and The Phantom were both decent flicks.

yup those are some bad movies. Daredevil and Elektra should not have been lumped together, Daredevil was bad but Elektra is on a different boat of crap. Horrible, horrible movie

Even though it was Indiana Jones Lite for the most part, as Billy Zane's character says in the movie, "No one refuses the Phantom!"

I'm surprised The Rocketeer and Mystery Men weren't listed.

I liked The Eric Bana Hulk. It was a little slow and tedious though.

I also liked The Phantom. It's cheesy fun.

Can't argue with too many of the other choices though.

SUPERMAN III also deserved to be listed. The inclusion of SUPERMAN IV is a little too easy since it's budget and final edit were slashed and burned beyond recognition.

I didn't like DAREDEVIL, but it wasn't so incompetent as to warrant an inclusion. BATMAN FOREVER was every bit as silly.

I liked FF. I know it's not the best movie ever, but it was fun.

League of Extraordinary Gentlemen made me mad when I watched it, because it just seems like it should have been so easy to make it enjoyable.

Will the Shadow ever get a decent release?

I'd replace Daredevil with X-Men 3, the Thomas Jane Punisher with the Dolph Lundgren Punisher, The Shadow with Pathfinder..

I'd say nipples on the bat suit were the least of Batman & Robins problems... what a horrible movie, but I can't really disagree with the list too much. I've seen almost all of them, and think the Punisher stands up better than the rest, but it still isn't a great movie.

Its funny how the nipples has become the standard of bad for that movie and everybody forgets about Schwarzeneggers bad acting, Alicia Silverstone as batgirl and Bane.

Surprised by a few of the choices that I consider great fun, including The Shadow and Barbarella.

I always thought that the "nipples" thing was a cheap shot against Batman & Robin. I'm not a fan of any of the four Burton-inspired films, so I can't quite fathom the huge disparity in popularity, other than a hate-pile-on. To me the series is a natural progression, and all the faults of #4 are from faulty seeds well-planted in #1.

I remember upon it's theatrical release Schumacher talked about how he wanted to make a "living" comic book, referring to the colors/lighting and camera angles. PAID to see this in the theater, afterwards thought, "What the fuck sorta comics books is Schumacher reading?!"

I disagree with the progression theory....they seemed to get more campy/"funny" as the series progressed and I have no idea why. The first one had some humor in it, but it was very dark humor, by the end it was pie in the face-"wakka wakka" humor.

I did like The Shadow, although I haven't seen it in years; I do remember it was some great campy fun. I hated Ghost Rider the first time I saw it, but after a second viewing I've been able to enjoy it for the relatively mindless romp that it is. Take The Fantastic Four and The Punisher off the list and I can't disagree with the rest.

I look at the Schumacher Batman's in the vein of the TV show. Campy fun. Unfortunately it didn't fit with the groundwork Burton had already laid which led to mass disappointment.

I've said it before but I enjoyed Clooney as Bats. He seems to take the heat from the film, but he was only in about 15 minutes of it. It was everything else that was a mess.

Bullshit on this whole list for including The Phantom, Punisher, and Swamp Thing. Reminds me why i cancelled my sub to EW years ago. Just never agreed with their reviews

And the suit in Batman Forever had nipples, but thats never mentioned. B&R had bad dialogue. Watch it on mute sometime, visually, its not bad.

That might be because The Rocketeer is actually a fun, decent movie.

Although I enjoyed the first 2 movies, I agree with this 100%...
