I think he was being sarcastic.

Also, this reminds me of a Leslie Nielsen spoof.

I saw this before Superbad. It looked pretty funny, but not something I'd rush out to see. Maybe only because I love Reilly. I'll wait for some reviews on here before I make up my mind.

It's called not reading thru the thread before asking a question.

Ironically done by the member most likely to yell out "REPOST!!!!LOLBBQ!"

Bump because I saw a screening of this movie last week and it was legit. I'm now officially seeing every Apatow movie until he does something wrong, because I had no idea what to expect with Walk Hard going in. But it was damn fine..probably the most clever parody movie I've seen in over 15 years. In fact since the original Naked Gun, I can't think of another of this type of movie on its level.

It looks absolutely fantastic! And John C Reilly is the perfect guy for this role, as opposed to Will Ferrell, which would have made it really obvious that its all a gag.

Reilly makes you think twice.

No. There's, like, six BILLION people in the world. But you are obviously in the minority on this one.

Looks rad.

some clips from the movie:

I was rather disappointed with the trailer, but from these scenes and the ones from this week's At the Movies with Ebert & Roeper, this looks really funny.

A lot of funny parts not in the trailer. This is definitely getting back to the classic spoof movies with creative humor.

Apatow and Gang have constantly delivered for me, but the clean trailers for their movies are horrible/unfunny as they can be. Superbad and Knocked Up come to mind.

This movie looked pretty bad from the G trailer but the R trailer is pretty damn funny.
