I liked it a lot. It was fun and the time flew and I spent most of the time smiling. The whole crowd was really into it, which always makes any movie better. I will try and see it again next week, fun times.

That was the case when we saw it as well, and it does make a huge difference. No cell-talkers, annoying commentators, or any of the other problematic patrons, just a bunch of people who were genuinely enjoying themselves.

The family saw it today. While it certainly is no cinematic masterpiece, it was a nice movie to take a family to go see. An easy C+ or b-. It was an incredible extension of the original. The firsy had Gail Chase as the unwilling accomplice then loive interest. It also had Sean Bean who is one of the best freakin bad guys around.

The Goofy short was great. I hope that's on the DVD

I enjoyed it, but I thought the first was MUCH better. It seemed to me like the solved everything in a split second. Not that the first didnt have that, but it seemed like more of a 'mystery'. I thought Helen Mirren was absolutely awful. It was a bit too ridiculous for my taste, but I had a good time.

I really liked the first for what it was, mindless entertainment, and I thought this one delivered as well. Just a fun adventure flick. I don't know why, but for some reason, I really like this franchise and can't wait for a National Treasure 3... what is on page 47!?

I though that was pretty obvious and a good hook for the third film

Spoiler:
I am pretty sure it was something about the Fountain of Youth

Sean Bean was a much better villain, even though I'm a big Ed Harris fan. Also, the treasure
Spoiler:
wasn't nearly as cool this time around
. It was still a lot of fun to watch and while I can't say that you need to turn your brain off before you watch it, just try you're hardest to ignore the imperfections.

Good, maybe we can have a POTC/NT crossover movie.

Does anyone know what the significance was of Sadusky knowing more about the book than he told Ben? It seemed like they were intimating that he had some agenda, but it never played out from what I could tell.

My nephew wants to see it so my daughter and I are taking a few relatives to see it again this afternoon. I'd see it again just for the Goofy short

Semi bad movie.

I nothing but groan thru the whole Buckingham Palace scenes. So the computer geek guy has a PDA and an Ipod so that means he can use them together to open a jail cell door and set off fire alarms?

Yes, yet still none of his devices have a camera so they had to use a traffic camera instead

Like most everyone else, I enjoyed the heck out of it just like the first. I wonder if anyone saw this that disliked it but liked the first movie? I noticed it on a couple people's "worst" lists.

Here as well...and the theater was virtually sold-out. See how people act when there's a GOOD movie up on the screen? Rehash of the original or not, this was the PERFECT "popcorn" flick. I loved it.

Maybe if they could get Victor Garber to reprise his role as Jack Bristow and show up as part of the hunt for another Rambaldi artifact that crosses paths with Ben and the gang.

Ha! Alias was the first thing I thought of when they mentioned "Page 47". That would be a nice crossover.

From wiki:
Spoiler:
One of Rambaldi's prophecies is central to the Alias story arc. Written on the forty-seventh page of one of his manuscripts, it predicts the coming of a woman who would "bring forth [Rambaldi's] works" and "render the greatest power unto utter desolation".

I finally saw this tonight. It was a great popcorn flick no doubt. The Bartha character is a riot. At the end when he drops the bag and you hear a shatter...it got a lot of laughs. He played almost the same character in Failure to Launch but he is very funny. He may be an uprising star. I gave the movie 3 stars and an 8 rating. Let's just say I'm anticipating the blu-ray release of BOTH movies.

I'd also like to add that Kruger is just drop dead gorgeous & if you want to see more of her, hit up Troy DC.

I'd like to see a 3rd film. I think Disney will do it but not right away. However, we may lose some of the cast. I'm thinking Kruger but who knows. It was 3 years since the last. This sequel really had some power to it. Definitely more than Pirates. I know Pirates has a large fan base but if they keep up on the adventure, they'll sell a lot of movies.

Good popcorn movie, but immediately forgettable once you leave the theatre.
