I don't see any reason to assume rights to Kingpin went to Sony. Fox probably still owns it until their rights to Daredevil characters expire, and then it goes back to Disney.

Yawn. I'm a big Spidey fan but after 3 I'm just not amped for this. I mean I'll follow production and see it of course, but I'm not jonesing for it like I was Spidey 3 at the time. The remaining villains are kind of 'meh'.

I'm hoping it's a fake myself as it seems a bit early since they haven't even cast anyone yet.

But in case it's real -- Carnage? Really? I may be the only man on this forum who actually liked Spider-Man 3, although it had its problems, but given the great scope of Spidey's villains, Carnage is the best they can do?

There's no way they're going to throw Carnage in this after the outcry of Venom being thrown in to appease the fanboys in Spidey 3. Not only that but I don't think the Sony logo would be on the teaser poster since they put the films out under the Columbia banner. I call fake.

I know the poster is so fake, but what the fuck is so hot and so special about Carnage? It's a blatant ripoff of Spiderman.

Bring in the old characters like Kraven, The Lizard, Electro, and fuck Carnage and shitty venom.

They should do the "framing Spiderman for crimes" plot already. They've done it many times in the comic book/cartoons.

Have the main villains be Mysterio and/or Chameleon pulling the strings so that they can either pretend to be or just hire super goons such as Rhino, Shocker, Kraven, Silver Sable (the next Spiderman movie needs a sexy lady in there), and Elektro. There is no need to develop either of those super goons - just throw them into the movie for action scenes. Along the way, the Lizard can be thrown in there as well. Mysterio, Chameleon, and the Lizard should be the ones developed.

In all honesty what i'd want a Spider-Man film to have is for Webhead to just take care of some b villain as the intro and then get into the main plot. Just seems like..you know, he'd have more work to do all the time than just ever 3 years or whatever.

There's a rumor now that Rachel McAdams and Romola Garai are trying out for a possible Black Cat role.

I like Rachel McAdams but she's such a plain jane with a non-shapely body. Romola Garai would be awesome because she's hot, she's shapely, and she's got this crazy edge about her. Furthermore, she deserves to be a little more fame by now. McAdams is already pretty famous. Garai deserves more recognition.

I like Rachel a lot, and am sure with a trainer she would be just fine for the role. Not sure what kind of women you all are living around if she is plain.

No clue who Romola Garai is, but I sure thought she was Rachel McAdams in those top two pictures.
