Frank Darabont Hates George Lucas

Frank Darabont’s Indy 4 script may have had Indiana investigating UFO’s and included appearances from Kate Capshaw (booooo) and Karen Allen (yeaaaaaaa.) But the actual contents of the script are in dispute. Darabont says he has no idea if anything he wrote will remain in the new “Indy has a son” movie that will eventually get made. I don’t particularly think Lucas has a good recent (by recent, I mean the last 30 years) record as a writer

I thought the possible titles were:

Indiana Jones and The Search for Jar Jar Binks in Episode III

Indiana Jones and How George Lucas Will Ruin This Trilogy

Indiana Jones and How He Not Only Hates Snakes, He Hates Sand Too Like Anakin.

See post #127.

Actually, this might wind up being called "Indiana Jones & The Childhood Rapist" (at least by fans).

Speaking of Indy Jr, it's heavily implied in Raiders that Indy got Marian pregnant and ran out on her.

Thats only if Lucas changes the scene now to the guy with the sword pulls a gun and misses Indy, and Indy shoots back in self-defense. Indy and Han now shoot second, and Lucas can claim that both characters appeal to the kiddies now.

I'd call that a radical interpretation of the text. I always just got the impression that she thought he was in love with her and then he ran out on her.

Lucas jokes never get tired cause after the Shaw/Hayden change in ROTJ, ANYTHING is possible in these movies to get axed. I was actually a fan of the SE until 2004 when he started changing actors!! That to me is the most insulting thing as a fan of any movies, to start taking out dead actors from a 20 year old movie and inserting new ones. But then again, I should not say anything bad about Lucas, cause I have my non-anamorphic, blurry, grainy shit versions of the OT to watch on DVD whenever I want.

Jeebus! I guess she's playing one of the skeletons. Watch out Callista, your man may stray!

Unless she's supposed to play one of the skeletons, I think her agent can expect a call from the Lucas/Spielberg camp today...

Put the weight back on, we've got a month to go!

Folks, Cate's always been super thin. I think it's just the dress and make-up in that pic that makes her look gaunt. Sure, she could be a few pounds lighter. But she's not like the O Twins or anything.

Well, let's hope she looks a little better in the movie.

Actually, I meant she could be a few pounds lighter than usual in the one picture posted. I just watched her again in "Notes on a Scandal" the other night. She's just a very thin person.

I'm sure she will

Cate's such an amazing actress. And possibly the best working now (IMO). So I'm especially looking forward to this movie with her on board.

My definition of a few pounds is 5-10. And I'm telling you she's not too much heavier than that in the right picture. Look at the waist and the arms! It's the hair and make-up and the way she's holding her head back a little. I'm not denying she's too thin (on the left). I'm just saying it's not like she went from 150 to 90 pounds. She's always been thin.

Shes at least 15 pounds lighter on the left. She looks anorexic.

From PerezHilton.com:

One day after her highly criticized appearance, Cate Blanchett redeems herself by looking lovely and normal at the Time 100 party in NYC on Tuesday night.
