I think the title could just be changed to "The Dark Knight (aka Batman Begins 2)". I only add the Batman Begins 2 in case someone actually uses the search function...

Is everyone aware that the poster is question is a "tie in/promo" poster for reese's candy? It's not for theaters or any type of other promotion. The full version of the poster has the reese's logo on it. It's probably going to be a display or mini hand out poster.

A turd is a turd, regardless of product placement. Still, glad it's not the new theatrical ad campaign.

I find it a bit baffling that people here seem to be more hung up on the graphic qualities of the poster and seemingly totally oblivious to th fact THAT IT'S A TIE-IN TO A CANDY PRODUCT! Just who is this film being targeted for if they are back to running tie-ins with candy companies? Are happy meals that far behind?

As excited as I already was I watched the trailer again at work today on HDNet. Seriously, I was just waiting for customers to come in and then I saw the B&W WB logo and was like, "Ah shit, Dark Knight trailer in HD!" I promptly rewound it and taped it onto the store DVR and watched it again.
Man, these five months are gonna be agony. I just. Can't. Wait.
A couple of friends and I have already decided that a midnight show is a must, and one of them has vowed to see it at the more expensive (but closer) theater in town.
And I'm sure Heath Ledger will watch on from heaven proudly when people see his Joker.

From imdb:
Anime-inspired direct-to-DVD anthology film. Comprised of six short stories, from diverse creators, including Academy Award-nominated Josh Olsen (A History of Violence), Batman Begins writer David S. Goyer, and comics scribe Brian Azzarello. It's planned for a release window of two to four weeks prior to the release of The Dark Knight, and would bridge the gap between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.

Ledger Joker Figure Debuts - With Family's Blessing
Source: WENN
Late actor HEATH LEDGER is set to be immortalised in the form of a toy action figure - with his grieving family's blessing.
Ledger had recently finished playing The Joker in the forthcoming Batman film The Dark Knight when he was found dead in his New York apartment last month (22Jan08).
However, only a week after the Aussie star's funeral, a range of The Joker figures have been revealed by toy giant Mattel. The "Dark Knight" action figures are set to be marketed alongside the new movie - tipped to be this summer's (08) major blockbuster.
Several versions of the Heath joker figures will hit stores in May (08).
A spokesman for the star's family says, "Heath was very proud of his work in the film and his family is aware and supportive of the plans for the movie."
