This one guy in my health/driver's ed class just told me the other day he met JLH at a Border's and that she was really nice, a little too nice because apparently she was way too giggly and talked to him way too much. He introduced himself as a fan, told her that as a little kid he had a huge crush on her, then she got all blushy and started having small talk, and within 5 minutes he was wishing she would just shut up because he was in a hurry.

It is on topic. You were curious as to if this was the way Jon interviewed folks. Those people came on to promote whatever product they were shilling. Jon ripped into them in normal fashion.


You ever hear that any publicity is good publicity? The actors decided to do a live action Garfield film. So I'm pretty sure she knew what she was getting into going on a satire news program. Besides that, as already stated.. Jon didn't do anything that crossed any lines.

For example, making Hugh Jackman think he just burned down Brett's house and the houses of the nearby neighbors isn't cruel? Even if it's a joke that sort of shit goes over the line of being a practical joke and why it may be funny for you and they may laugh about it after the matter. It's still some cruel shit to pull. Much like how JLH's interview with Jon may be mocking the film but that's a method to get folks to be interested in the film. Hell, look at how much hype there is for Snakes on a plane.

It's from when she was on The Tyra Banks Show last year. Tyra is to her left doing the same thing. The only reason I know that at all is because I found it out while trying to figure out where in the world the small picture that The_Infidel posted was from. I despise Tyra Banks, her TV shows, etc...

I find Jon Stewart to be a looser and a waste of TV space. I rather listen to NPR than watch his horrible show. Same with Jay Leno.

At 11 pm and 11:30 pm NPR doesnt actually do any news so I don't see how this is relevant. Jon Stewart and Leno are COMEDY shows, whereas NPR is a news show.
