Jet Li's FEARLESS

Just saw this on dvd, what a great movie !

Good moving story and best fight scenes i have seen for a while. They blow away anything Jet has done in Hollywood!

Rumours are this is Jet's last period piece Kung Fu movie, that would be sad.

A must see for Jet Li and martial arts movies fans

Well he said "saw" not "hear".

Personnally, I don't get the "but it's an action flick, you don't need to understand the dialogue!" rationale, but many people bought Ong Bak well before there was a version with subs available. Perhaps people are doing the same with this film.

The local Asian video store I frequent gave me a DVD of it (I shop there a lot and bring in a lot of business through word of mouth) but I haven't watched it yet. Is the audio in Mandarin or Cantonese?

Haven't seen or heard of this flick, but the last Jet Li movie I saw was Unleashed ... and I thought it was terrific. That and Hero before that were great. Will definitely check this out - once it comes with English subtitles.

I've seen it. Unfortunatley I saw it as a double bill with Tom Young Goung & Tony Jaa totally owns Jet Li now.

What's surprising about Fearless is that the story is better than the action scenes. Fight scenes were good (even though I didn't like some of the fast forwarded scenes), but Fist Of Legend is still my favorite.

I've seen it, too, I have to say I am not very impressed. But I am not a Jet Li fan anyway.

Will this get a R1 release? I love Jet Li's old Chinese films, like Wing Chun et.al.

I just saw it...I know late in the game. I LOVED IT! This is a great great movie.

Also did you know this movie is kind of a "prequel" to Jet Li's FIST OF LEGEND and the Bruce Lee movie of the same story FISTS OF FURY.

Remember in those films, Bruce/Jet's character comes back when he finds out his master was killed in a dual with a Japanese fighter? He his master lost because he was poisoned?

anyone know the name of the weapon used in the trailer, and on the main movie web site, its like a 3-piece nunchaku. 3 poles connected by 2 chains. It looks cool to use. Thanks

Saw its trailer last night when watching Tokyo Drift. Looks like it's dubbed in English.

This trailer? The only English in this trailer is the voiceover and two lines, one spoken by a white man, and the other by a Chinese man onscreen who is clearly speaking English. How does this show it is dubbed?

It certainly looks cool but it's all for show mainly. It certainly doesn't have the kind of killing power that a regular staff has. It's main function is to reach around shields- even so it doesn't have much power.
