Holy shit, Jay as Joker? That is awesome!

And I don't care what anyone says, this is and always will be Harvey Dent:

Weaving could channel some of his Pricilla, Queen of the Desert voice.

I hope Liev Schrieber is still in the running for Dent. He would be perfect.

A new name for Dent being tossed around:

Harvey Dent would likely be a friend of Batman's in the upcoming film, only to turn into Two Face in the third installment.
Phillippe? I've liked Liev in everything I've seen him in and he would be perfect. Hopefully he is in the running and not just a name tossed out there.

Josh Lucas has publicly stated his interest in playing Harvey Dent.

A rumor floating around was that John Cusack was also interested.

Cusack and Phillipe Don't get me wrong, I think both of them are terrific - but not for Harvey Dent. He's supposed to exude the same kind of confidence and charisma that Bruce Wayne gives off (wasn't Dent considered to potentially be Batman in Year One?), and the two of them don't give off "Bruce Wayne-esque" vibes, but a different cut of the mold kind of charisma.

Liev Schrieber, Guy Pearce, or Josh Lucas can pull it off. My vote still goes to Schrieber out of the realm of possibility choices - though I think Pearce would be fantastic.

Would it go against the grain too much if Val Kilmer were to play Harvey Dent? I think he'd be awesome, but there would be teh "Batman Forever" baggage of course.

Murphy Back & Eckhart Turns In "Knight"?

We already know Aaron Eckhart is going to play Harvey Dent in the upcoming "Batman Begins" sequel "The Dark Knight", but in talking with MTV he may have revealed something else.

"Batman is a complex character, and Two-Face comes a little bit from the same world. But [at the same time], he's apart from it. I'm looking for the tension between the two, the similarities between the two. I want to find what's similar to Batman, and then find what's opposite to him" says Eckhart.

The big question though - will we see Dent become Two-Face in Knight? "Yeah... Well, I'm Harvey Dent ... then I go into Harvey Two-Face".

Also, one question posed lately - will The Scarecrow return to Gotham City in 'Knight'? "I can't comment on that" said "Begins" star Cillian Murphy to Comic Book Movie.

Murphy confirmed in 2005 that the studio has options to bring him back in the sequels, and that "if they decide to make another Batman I'd love to be in it".

I was listening to Amazon Wire podcast. In a interview with Alan Moore they mentioned that the movie would be based on the graphic novel "The Killing Joke". What role if any does two face have in this book. All I know is the joker does some bad stuff in it.

Not if you have someone dressing up and calling themselves "Batgirl".

Two Face doesn't have a part in the Killing Joke, but then Ra Al Ghul and Scarecrow didn't have a part in Batman: Year One. My guess is they mean Joker's origin will come from Killing Joke.

Am i the only one that thinks The penguin is the dumbest supervillian ever created? Unlike The Joker, Two-Face, or even The Riddler. The Penguin really has no interesting catch about him. Tim Burton's interpretation of Penguin was ok but i always thought the Penguin was lame and hope Nolan doesn't use him at all when there are better villians out there. I wouldn't mind seeing Mad Hatter making an apperance though.

I'm hoping they use Penguin as the new Falcone type-character, kind of the underground mobster/weapons supplier. He wouldn't really have to be anything special, just a fat Al Capone.

I'd love to see Robin Williams as the Mad Hatter... he's worked with Nolan before so who knows.

Robin Williams would be more unspectacular casting choice than Heath Ledger.

What was his origin in that? Every Joker origin I've seen/heard was him falling in acid, usually because he was running from Batman.

I know that story is famous because that is where he cripples Batgirl but hopefully they don't just cripple Barbara just to get fanboys giggly.

That's pretty much what happens in Killing Joke. Only it's told very interestingly, furthering the contention that Batman "Made him." Joker (Red Hood) was just a small-time criminal who was doing what he could to support his wife, if memory serves.
