I like Bettany. He'd make a good Joker. Although my top choice was Crispin Glover.
As for Jake, I have nothing against him but he'd seem as miscast as Katie Homes (but with better acting ability). I would have prefered Liev Schreiber.
Then again, Jake as Two-Face is the only rumour I see as possibly true because Chris Nolan likes him so much. In fact, before Christian Bale had his screentest, Jake was Chris Nolan's number 1 choice for Batman.

I didn't know Paul Bettany by name until i saw his picture. That is a great choice. I have liked that guy since I saw A Knights Tale.
I don't know about Jake but i guess he deserves a chance before judging.

I think Bettany is a great choice - he's skinny and tall, has a good grin and can definitely play "menacing and crazy." That's all I need

I agree with Lateralus. Robin always bugged me, for some reason. I feel like he was Batman's "Mr. Smithers". Just there to check out the tights.
Should it happen, though, I'm sure it will be done well.

My only problem with this is that why do they keep showing the same villans in the batman movies. Wouldn't you guys want to see something different, different villans other that the ones used over and over again in the movies? All it is, is different actors doing the same villans.

Well, they did 2 original villians in Begins. As for the Joker, he is THE Batman villain. He has to be in the new series.

Id still like to see Adrien Brody as Joker, but this choice actually is a good one too. I just hope they avoid getting someone like Alan Cummings or something.
I hope they make the joker really really dark.

I think adding the Joker will be good just because he is the Bat's Archnemesis, but this idea of adding a new villian, or some new character (ie robin or batgirl) in each movie is what got the original movies in trouble in the first place. There doesnt have to be some sort of supervillian or sidekick in each movie to make it a decent movie.

I like the concept of having Harvey Dent be Batman's ally in this one and not actually be Two-Face; sets up a third movie well.

I had many issues with Batman Begins but it was still more entertaining than the 2 Batman films before it. I too didn't care for the fight scenes in the film but the film did other things so well that I overlooked that flaw.
I was really hoping for more fresh villains for the upcoming film. It sure would of easier to find new villains if so many Batman films hadn't doubled up on them and taken so many of the good ones.
The casting for Dent seems all wrong to me but anything has got to be better than what we got with Tommy Lee Jones. I'll never understand why he agreed to do that role. If it was for the cash he should use that money to go around the US and buy up copies of that awful movie.
