Yeah I don't care what she looks like - she's just a horrible comedian, her material is awful, she's trainwreck-awful on SNL (and if you stand out for being horrible on SNL these days, that's saying something).

Based on her comedy, she's loud black woman being loud in making her point. A stereotype.... yay. The material in of itself isn't good.

If they wanted diversity I think Uzo Aduba would have been an interesting choice, she is hilarious on Orange is the New Black.

The extras casting was on Sunday in Boston. I...did not go. I also missed out on Evan Almighty in Charlottesville a few years ago. These unwanted comedy sequels keep following me around.

Honestly, aside from the shin guards, the uniforms and proton packs look great. I really don't even know what people are complaining about anymore.

Leslie Jones is terrible because she keeps flubbing her lines (which I guess won't be an issue for a movie), but worse, her comic timing is WAY off, as in she has absolutely zero concept of timing. Which I guess can be fixed in a movie as well - but then, why hire her at all?

I'm still not a fan of the all female cast but the costumes look fine to me. The new jumpsuits are fairly close to what the original cast wore other than the stripes and the shin guards. The proton pack is a bit different but still looks okay to me.

Also, she is not remotely funny. Yelling your lines while making bug eyes on SNL is not comedy. % chance in the film she says with bug eyes "oh shit! dat's a ghost!"? 98%?

I saw two comments on reddit yesterday that really stuck with me regarding this movie:

It's the internet and there are girls instead of boys involved. A lot of boys don't like that and complain about things like the look of the uniforms that look almost exactly like the uniforms from the first movie.

I don't see anything wrong with the uniforms or proton packs, they look fine to me. Not going to make the cast look any better though.

The uniforms and equipment look great, it's unfortunate they'll be latched to a bunch of marginally talented actresses.
