I saw the teaser during X3 and thought the movie looked ridiculously stupid. As for the clip of the guy doing four impersonations - that guy was spot on. I liked his Pesci: "get off me you slitherin' prick you."

are you kidding??? those have been the most noteworthy news stories of some time. Chris Hansen is the veritable man! he is cool, collected, and so poised in every situation. this "tabloid" show as you put it has done so much more to taking these guys off the street than anything before. i mean it has made so many millions aware of such an epidemic. i didn't know how wide spread it was until i saw each and every one. i was glued...horrified...and sad.
this is in no way sensationalism like a tabloid would have you read.

The only way Dateline could ever improve on that series of shows would be to have Samuel L. Jackson there with or instead of Hansen....imagine what he would say and do to those guys....

It's an 'audition' video with someone doing great impersonations of Jack Nicholson, Joe Pesci, Christopher Walken and others - auditioning for this movie.
oh man, those voices are dead on

Yeah, for all this Internet hype, you'd think there would be legit advertising out there.

So it goes.

Which might explain why there isn't much in the way of advertising. Why spend money when you don't have to? A real marketing campaign will hit soon enough.

Yeah, one would think the studio would at least release a trailer. Then again, releasing a trailer might kill the hype and cause the film to lose its odd appeal. Whatev.

That looks like it's meant to be a tv spot.

Yeah, not a trailer, definitely a TV spot... not a good one at that. They aren't playing the "so bad it's good" angle at all in this ad...underwhelming. Hoping the official full trailer is much more impressive.

For those going to Comic-Con, this blurb was just added to the site:

"One of the hottest movies of the summer is New Line’s Snakes On A Plane and it’s coming to Comic-Con! Join star Samuel L. Jackson and director David R. Ellis for a Comic-Con exclusive panel discussion starting at 5:45PM on Friday, July 21 in Hall H."

This will be a real hoot

Last I heard was the director was adding more you-know-what for a target rating of a hard R.

The poster is up at Bloody-Disgusting. It's a good poster, gives off a definite campy feeling.

One of my wife's friends is deathly terrified of snakes, and can't even stay in the theatre when previews come on screen.

I dig the poster, but dislike the lack of snakes.
