I just rewatched To Kill a Mockingbird and liked its opening titles a lot.
Also, West Side Story. And a lot of the bond ones are fun.

Oh, my word. I can't believe someone else remembers this movie! A search on Amazon seems to show that this DVD is OOP. Too bad, too. My brother and I used to watch this all the time on the Disney Channel (I think). I'd love to see it again just for the memories.

Many of my favorites y'all have thrown out here: Star Wars, Superman, The Wild Bunch, Ed Wood ...

I see a lot of nods to Once Upon a Time in the West, but I really like the Dollars Trilogy ones, particularly For a Few Dollars More (I'm always whistling that theme song, too). The Searchers is also memorable for me because of that badass Sons of the Pioneers theme song. I guess these are more associated with opening credits than titles, however.

Other quick 'n clever ones include The Color of Money, The Blues Brothers, Bottle Rocket and Planes, Tranes and Automobiles (I'm just thinking about when the actual movie title is shown).
