Leia isn't scared of Vader because they wanted to show Leia as strong and not scared of the most dangerous man in the galaxy. This is a pretty much running theme with her, she's flip towards everyone. The way her charactor is has nothing to do with how strong Vader is.

I realize that now,it's just that for some reason I was expecting to see this stuff happen in Episode III,so when it didn't I was kinda let down.But still in all Ep III was a good movie and a nice ending to the saga.
