I thought I'd resurrect this thread, and put a twist on it. How about you name one of your favourite trailers and provide a link to where it can be downloaded?
I have the Magnolia trailer saved on my computer and watch it frequently, mostly for John C. Reily's monologue and the music backing it. By the way, does anyone know what song that is (the one the trailer ends with, not the upbeat one near the start or middle)?

wow, that takes me back. i edit trailers for a living and a friend of mine was the editor on the magnolia trailer. he worked directly with paul thomas anderson in the bay with him. according to him, the music was composed by jon brion (the film's composer) specifically for the trailer.

So no one seems to be taking any interest. Well then I'll bump it with the trailer for Little Children . Excellent use of sound I think.

I can't believe that I didn't include in my first list
'Excalibur' - the Carmina Burana score, the shot of the sword retracting into the lake under a blood red sun.... wow!

i thought the scooby doo teaser was creative...
Godzilla is up there with one of the better teasers as well.
when i was a kid Die Hard 2 led me to believe that no better movie could be made when he hit that eject button...

I liked the early Grindhouse trailer, that was on Youtube months before the offical one came out on Yahoo. The new one isn't bad either, but didn't get me to a giddy level of excitement like the early one. It's my most anticipated movie of 2007.

Wow. Has no one seen a movie more than 10 years old?
Anyway, here's two of the best trailers ever made.
