Is that the one with the t-800 skull in fire and then you get the T2 logo? If so.. Not a fan of that one.

For me:

3. Episode 1: Anticipation was so high and it lived up to it
2. Star Wars: Special Edition Re-release

1. Comedian: Best trailer ever.

But I'm sure I posted all these in the other threads as well.

1. Forrest Gump - Perfectly captures the epic feel of the film
2. Saving Private Ryan re-release trailer - The main reason why it should've won the best picture oscar
3. Seabiscuit - The Depression-era teaser. I got chills the first time I heard the main theme to the Shawshank Redemption in the trailer.
4. Casino - Coolest use of the Rolling Stones' Gimme Shelter
5. The Patriot - Best use of Craig Armstrong's score from Plunkett & Macleane
6. Die Hard With a Vengeance teaser - On a good day he's a great cop. On a bad day, he's the best there is.
7. Tombstone - Awesome showcase of the action in the film
8. True Lies teaser - found on the Abyss SE, it does what a teaser does best, leaves you wanting more.
9. Se7en - "Detective David Mills is looking for a way in... Detective William Somerset is looking for a way out."
10.Lethal Weapon 2 - "This time, they're not taking any crap!"

I'd put Independance Day right up there. The movie is so so, but that teaser with the WH blowing up was awesome. Everyone wanted to see it after that, me included.

Magnolia's trailer really suits the movie very well. I like to look at trailers as companion pieces to movies, and that one sure does the job.

Recently, my favorite is The Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy wherein the title character breaks down the conventions of movie trailers...using its own movie as the example.

ROCKY II - the original DVD was my very FIRST DVD ever back in 1998, solely on the trailer ALONE

"This guy just doesn't want to win! He wants to bury ya, he wants to humiliate ya....He wants to prove to the whole world that you were nothin' but a FREAK the first time out!"

"Robert Chartoff and Irwin Winkler are proud to present: ROCKY II. The story continues."

AWESOME TRAILER.

Wanted to a few more:

The teaser trailer for "In The Line Of Fire". Has a ticking clock and you hear the voice over of John Malkovich saying "I see you standing over the grave of another dead president". Then they cut to a shot of Clint who slams the clip into his gun looks straight at the audience and says "That's NOT gonna happen!" I remember a cheer when I first saw that run in theaters...up until that point in the trailer, you had no idea it was a Clint Eastwood movie.

Also the teaser trailer for GoldenEye that first introduced Pierce as James Bond...you see him walking into focus and he looks at the audience and says "You were expecting someone else?!" Great trailer!

The T-800 skull in fire is from the opening credits of T2. The teaser shows the T-800 endoskeleton being constructed and then the living tissue being placed over it. It ends with a red-eyed Ahnuld saying "I'll be back".

There's a bunch I can think of, but one that hasn't yet mentioned is the trailer for I Heart Huckabees. I LOVE that trailer, I think it was probably the best trailer of all last year. I liked the movie, but I LOVED the trailer.

The trailer for "Start Trek V: The Final Frontier" made it look like it was going to be the best ST film ever. Trailers can be really misleading.
