Aliens of the Deep - James Cameron + IMAX film =
Ice Princess - Cutsie and tweener, but looks better than most of that group.
Cinderella Man - Promising.
Alone in the Dark - Eh . . .
The Merchant of Venice - Very nice!
Kingdom of Heaven - <Peter Griffin> Freakin' sweet!! </Peter Griffin> Even with Orlando Bloom (maybe it was the stubble, but I actually wasn't sure that it was him until the end)

I saw this trailer in Imax 3D before The Polar Express. Simply jaw-dropping.

I dunno about Pink Panther. Looks good, but cheesy. i hope Kline and Martin had good taste when they read this script and saw some good work.

Aliens of the Deep - Looks good but is it a documentary or movie?
Ice Princess - Skipping this. At least it's not starring Lindsey Duff. Though, I think one of them might be singing the song that plays at the end of the clip.
Cinderella Man - No thanks.
Alone in the Dark - I was wondering why this looked like it sucked. I then discovered it was directed by the master of modern crap.
The Merchant of Venice - No thanks.
Kingdom of Heaven - As dreamy as Bloom might be, i'm tired of all these horse and sword movies with the CGI'd sweeping battle scenes.

With the exception of Aliens of the Deep, this was a pretty crappy batch.

I wish they’d have gone with the real title at least.

This one gives me hope. Worst casting choice in the world (since Keaton as Bruce Wayne) but the story seems to shine through. I still can’t put my finger on it. Reeves is the classic mediocre actor, but he keeps picking the best projects.
He might even be appropriate as Arctor in A Scanner Darkly. I’m drooling all over waiting for that trailer

For me A Scanner Darkly is the movie of 2005 (based on what the PKD Trust has to say on the matter) but Sin City is up there as well. To quote Abe Sapien in reference to geeks of all walks: “We lead a charmed life.”

So much to look forward to.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith even has the same tango that True Lies did when Arnold and Tia dance. (Of course, it could just be music for the trailer and not in the actual movie.)

Nobody Knows (Daremo Shiranai) - Wow! That looks great! Kind of reminds me of a live-action, peacetime, Grave Of The Fireflies.

Gunner Palace - Not usually a big fan of documentaries, but I'm all over this one.

The Green Butchers - Looks like it's got some potential.

Watermarks - Holocaust survivors documentaries . . . swimming Holocaust survivors documentaries

Cursed - Horror movie + bad CGI (even in that tiny window) =

The Jacket - The trailer was broken at that link, but I found it at Yahoo! Movies. . . looks pretty sweet. Kind of reminds me of a The Butterfly Effect kind of film.

Appleseed - Looks like a promising sci-fi anime. The artwork/scenery looks really nice.

Corpse Bride - A new Tim Burton animated film!!!!

Thanks for the links, whitetigeress!

The Jacket - saw the trailer in theaters this weekend... looks really interesting and I can't wait for it. I hope it's as brilliant as it looks like it will be.

Gunner Palace - I'd love to check this one out.

Corpse Bride - I hope Burton is back with this one... He's been disappointing me over and over for over a decade now, but this one looks like it has the charm of Nightmare Before Xmas but hopefully without the annoying songs. (to be fair though, they were probably only annoying to me because I had to hear them 6 times a day when I worked at a video store.)

Cursed - I actually want to see this one... it's got Pacey in it and he dies. It looks like Nadia from American Pie is in it too and she dies as well. I think it looks kinda like Ginger Snaps with a bigger budget.

Appleseed - been anxious to see this for almost a year now... Is there a DVD for this with English subs yet like in Japan or somewhere? I can't remember.

Nobody Knows - all that praise for the director and I've never heard of him... hmm...

Wow, that Tractenberg chick looks very cute in that Ice movie. I used to think she was freaky looking but not anymore.

King's Ransom - Eh . . . I'll catch it on TV. Nice to see Eddie Murphy's big bro getting some face time on the big screen, though.
Man of the House - Looking forward to it (though, I'll probably see it as a rental). Tommy Lee Jones is a great "serious" actor, but I also find him to be really funny in comedy roles.
The Nomi Song - could be interesting, but not real high on my list of documentaries (which aren't, as a genre, high on my list of movies, anyway).
Swimming Upstream - Looks promising. Plus, new Geoffrey Rush movies are always a good thing.
Duma - Looks like a cute family film . . . Eamon Walker is a plus.
The Boys & Girl From County Clare - A definite. I love Irish films and Irish music.

Plus it's got Andrea Corr in it.

Thanks again, whitetigeress and Amel, for the links.
