Tough, tough call. I went with Bad Boys 2, since it was one of the most vapid, unnecessary sequels since Lethal Weapon 4. Pearl Harbor was pretty dreadful, but the half-hour attck scene was so great it saves the movie, IMO.

Besides as the great, powerful Jerry Bruckheimer says (in the Gone in 60 Seconds DVD), Michael Bey is the next David Lean!!!!!

Agreed! Pearl Harbour is a colossal peace of shit I tried too watch twice. And both times I gave up

MichaelBay epitmozies everything that's wrong with Hollywood movies today imo:

Let's see how much crap I can blow up on screen for $100m. The hell with a decent script, intelligent story or developped charaters

Bay is one of the worst directors out there

Bad Boys = a short, dark, gritty, and fun action film.
The Rock = dark, gritty, and fun; but a tad bit long.
Armageddon = mindless b-movie entertainment, but thirty minutes too long.
Pearl Harbor = attack sequence is good, but the rest is pure shit.
Bad Boys II = entertaining action sequences, but the film is an hour too long.

Mr. Bay needs to concentrate that a film doesn't need to be 150 minutes plus to be good. 90 - 120 minutes is just fine for everyone.

Hated every single of his film.

But if I have to go, I'd pick Armageddon (still can't forget the nausea I had after seeing that in theatre)

I generally like Michael Bay, but I voted for Pearl Harbor since the movie really dragged at points. The attack sequence is nice, but the movie seems to go all over the place before and after (especially after, I was a but surprised they went onto the Dolittle Run).

I am a super Michael Bay fan, and even I think Pearl Harbor is indefensible.

I liked Bad Boys, The Rock

Armageddon was OK for the genre

Bad Boys 2 was too long, too loud

Pearl Harbor was absolute shit, and the fact that it used a real tragedy makes even worse.

you can probably blaim the test/preview screenings for bad boys 2 being too long. since alot of the jokes, if the test audience didn't like it, it could have been shorter.

Bad Boys 2 was the single worst movie of last year. Dreadful. The Rock and Bad Boys are great, Armageddon is good and PH has it's moments, but BB2 belongs on a worst movies of all time list.

I mean really, I'll buy the other movies, but 2 miami cops marching into cuba and single handedly taking down the biggest drug czar and his crew in the world? They said they worked on that script for 10 years. Who did, Bay's 16 year old nephew? Complete garbage.

I'm not going to bother to vote. None of those are bad movies by any stretch (and yes, I did see Pearl Harbor).

Bad Boys 2 is really bad. Really extremely bad. But I swear he thought he was doing something important and historic and ground breaking when he put out Pearl Harbor. I just KNOW he thought that piece of crap was in the same league of Saving Private Ryan. And because of that, Pearl Harbor wins as the worst Micheal Bay movie. I cringe just thinking about it.

Pearl Harbor. Hands down.

I saw this in a packed theatre at 10 PM on opening weekend. I didn't get outta that theatre 'till after 1. I tell you that was the best sleep I had on my g/f's breasts in a long time . On a rewatch at a friends house months later, I still didn't get anything out of it. Big snooze.

At least Armageddon had decent actors (other than Affleck) to convey the okay script.

Bad Boys II was great action fun. Nothing more, but far more entertaining than PH.

Bad Boys is actually, IMO, a really good movie. I rewatch this Bay film the most.

The Rock is great because of the idea. And the idea made it a really good movie.

This thread REEKS of film snobbery.

That said, Pearl Harbor truly is a P.O.S.
