I thought DEAD END had a lot of fanboy circle jerking going on in it. Oh man, was I wrong cause if they are in the DC universe these ass clowns found a way to some how squeeze them in.

I don't know...that was like...the WB's version of a Batman flick. Pretty actors who can't act, boring sets. It was amusing to see all those characters thrown in, but considering I think the Robin character sucks for the most part...
Dead End was far more enjoyable as a fan flick. Unfortuantely this type of material needs SOME style, which this one lacked for the most part. It just looked so...bland.

Where do they get funding for this? Anyway, it was looking alright until that overblown ending in the trailer. The whole montage of action scenes with classical music playing in the background is nice but they carried it on way too long.

I doubt there is much of a film. This looks like just a plug to get their foot in the door. If it works for them, more power to them, but I'm sure WB will eventually crack down on these sorts of DC fan films eventually. Especially if they start to sell bigger and bigger at the convention scenes like DEAD END has.

After seeing it, the only thought I could muster is:
"Where in God's name could you possibly find this many grown ups who want to play dress-up?"

That was so bad it makes Catwoman look respectable. Well, I wouldn't go that far actually. Only thing appealing about that trailer/film was seeing some of the most well known super heros & villians interact; even then that would lead to a mess if it were feature length.

Before everyone blows a load and jumps on the bandwagon bashing a film that doesn't exist:
From TFNFanFilms.com
This film has created quite a buzz with all the TFN staff and is going to blow you away. This is not a film exactly but instead a long trailer for a film that does not exist (and we only hope its a yet).

^^^Already stated. this is just a means for the creators to get a foot in the door. Show off what they could potentially do. Much like how Dead End was a means to show off some of what the creators could do.

I figure that its made by some young director as kind of a calling card to the studios,i wonder if this stuff actually works and studios give them a shot(not directing a movie of course, but to get them into the movie biz at a lower level)that trailer must of cost at least 10 or 15 grand and thats figuring all the actors did it for free, thats kind of a big gamble if that trailer was made for someone to show there stuff

I thought the trailer was great. Most of the acting was very ameturish but still a great attempt at something different and looks like it could be a really dark and cool film if done right. Unfortunately WB and/or DC would never let it fly.
