I agree. The media has no sense of history. Another great artist of the 20th century is gone. I too will be busy this weekend watching On The Waterfront, The Godfather, Last Tango in Paris, Superman, and Apocalypse Now.

Oh. I forgot to mention that I was looking at his filmography over at IMDB just the other day and he basically knew he was going to die soon.
He wanted to be cremated and have his ashes spread on his private island where there are only two inhabitants.

Well, may he RIP. I didn't know he was that old, but I knew he was grossly overweight. I wonder if that played a factor.

A strong willed man who recently was followed by creditors and he hid his Oscars in order to keep them away from the creditors. Now he has passed away and he will be missed by all of us. In our prayers/thoughts you are Mr. Brando. A tribute to his cinematic genius are the films that he made (see below).

That is my favorite from him.
Such a heartbreaking performance. Paul will make you love him, hate him, cry for him, and feel his pain as he transitions himself all the way to the climax of the film.
Damn he is great.

It cannot be that surprising that this came after all of his problems with weight and his family problems, which I saw on E True Hollywood Story tonight that I wasn't aware of... would be heartbreaking to take. He was truly the most intense actor I have ever seen on the screen. An immortal icon in cinema even if he didn't care.
Last Tango In Paris is my favorite Brando performance also.
