I wonder if this movie will get postponed indefinitely and sit on a shelf for a few years?

I saw the trailer during the basketball game too, and the only way this film will work is as a camp classic...it looks freakin hilarious!

I don't think DC has the same control over their characters that Marvel does. Catwoman should've been a slam dunk. It's not to hard to come up with a revenge themed action movie with a female lead. You don't even have to put Michelle Phieffer in it(although it wouldn't hurt). Just a good loking woman with personality.

The previews make it look like someone with no talent wrote it. I'm going to give the screenwriter the benifit of the doubt and guess that the producers or Ms. Berry flexed their muscles and started changing things left and right.

So true!
What does this Acadamy Award winner do after winning an Oscar for Monsters Ball?

Die Another Day (big acting stretch, nice swimsuit)
X2 (Nice payday)
Gothica (Zzzzzz)

..and can I say the catwoman outfit although revealing, is the most ridiculous outfit I've ever seen.

the trailers are gone and next up the movie. This will not do good numbers even at opening.

I wonder if it will be moved back to reshoot.

The most shocking thing to me is knowing that Pitof directed the film (at least that's the info circulated) and yet the movie LOOKS like crap. Now if you know what he's done, you know that shouldn't be the case--this is the guy who worked on City Of Lost Children.

(with glasses off, still can see a bit) i couldn't believe i was watching the trailer for when I actually saw a woman getting all jittery at the smell of catnip. of course upon closer inspection it was Halle and then the trailer goes on to have her fall from a bannister and land in a cat-like position that looked so fake i simply couldn't believe my eyes.
later i saw a full trailer and that she dies and stuff and then she spoke actual words and "meowed" and i was so revolted that i think i actually got a little nausea...this movie looks so craptastic..that it is almost gloriously so!

I know it gonna bomb after I heard the little blurb in the beginning of the trailer where it totally rips off the Crow. It was the line about a cat bringing back the dead to right what was wronged or something along those lines. So, cats and crows do the same thing. LOL. I guess they think people won't remember the Crow. It has been ten years.

funniest thread in a long time
I know it's not right to judge a book by its cover, or a movie by its trailer, but I've gotten fairly good at doing so and this looks horrible. my only reget is getting to this thread so late that it looks like I'm just a bandwagon person

How dumb is this. All a villian has to do to stop her is to toss her some catnip. Would dangling some yarn in front of her or chasing her with a laser pointer have the same effect?

Yup, WB owns DC so in that sense.. the company does have control over their characters. Only in this case it's not being treated very right.

This image alone prevents me from ever watching the trailer again so a big thanks to whoever put this safety up:
