Yes, but don't you think that in this instance, it's warranted? I mean, we all get sick of the incessant Lucas, Disney, Hulk, etc. bashing. But I think if you showed this trailer to anyone, not just DVDTalk members, you'd probably get a pretty large consensus that it just looks bad.

I don't know if you're joking but wasn't one of the characters that trained Selina Kyle how to fight a male character called Wildcat or something like that? He was a boxer who became a hero back in Golden Age right?

Someone should let them know it's time to stop releasing information about the piece of crap.

How was it an April Fools Joke? It had all actual footage from the movie (terrible looking footage). It wasn't 'fake' footage. Hallie's awful lines were actually being read by Hallie. What exactly was fake about it? The "Cream, Straight Up" line is in the movie....so the April Fool's Joke wasn't really a joke at all. That IS the movie, whether the trailer was official or not.
I think it was an early workprint trailer that the studio wasn't planning on releasing. Maybe they were gonna test it and see the reaction. I'm sure they didn't plan on it being released to the internet.

scroll down to Apr 2 and it reads
"Just to clarify... The Catwoman trailer that we posted yesterday was not the bootleg trailer that has been going around, but our own April Fools joke. If you watched it, I'm sure you figured that out. The bootleg trailer itself, was not a joke, but a test trailer that was leaked. The story that claimed it wasn't real, was in fact the joke. I hope everyone is clear on that now.
"I didn't know there was a work print trailer released.

The actual trailer is out. It's going to debut this weekend or next weekend (either on New York Minute or Troy).
You can check it out here:

I saw the bootleg trailer, and honestly this one doesn't look much better. The Warner Bros./Village RoadShow Logo did look kinda cool, I guess.

The new trailer does look better, but that's probably because Halle doesn't do any acting in it and there's no awful dialogue like the first one. This trailer actually feels like a teaser since it really shows no story or characters other than a couple of action scenes.

Jack, please tell me you had NOTHING to do with this movie. I understand that Hollywood is a business and all but puh-leaze!!!
