i'm with you. Or even Master and Commander. ROTK was a good popcorn/escapist movie. It should'nt be in the best picture catagory.

I would agree with this ... but I think RotK should win representing LOTR as a whole.

I'd understand if RotK lost best picture, but there is no way PJ should lose for best director ... he deserves it for the ambition and scope of the project.
