Yes. The DVD is out.

So, does anyone have news of an "official" release?

i've got no news, but i did get rid of my director's cut four years ago when i heard that there was going to be a three disc se released. i may have to pick it up again. i'll check and see how much ddd is selling it for, maybe i'll pick it up tomorrow during the sale.
