I just saw the trailer, before Starsky & Hutch, and this looks excellent.

Oh I love that poster. It is mine too.

I am very excited for this one. It is my second most anticipated movie, behind Kill Bill 2.

Saw this already. Fantastic film.

Also got to see Kaufman and Gondry in person for a Q&A after the screening. Would have been better had people asked decent questions.

I've been looking forward to this one for a long time. Glad to see some of the initial reviews are very positive.

The music that is playing at the beginning of the new trailer is from A Beautiful Mind (James Horner/Charlotte Church).

I'm not sure what to think of this film. It looks good but maybe a bit odd. But I'll probably go and watch this film.

I'm seeing it tomorrow, but what I've heard from early press screenings is that it's remarkable - a true triumph from Kaufman and Gondry.

I'm hoping this is the case.

Just saw this movie last night and was floored. This is by and large one of the best movies I've seen over the past few years. I did not like Carrey's performances in The Majestic for The Truman Show. His performance in this was very, very good. He played his part perfect. Kate Winslet, David Cross, Kirsten Dunst and Elijah Wood were also perfectly cast. Everyone in the movie created a world that seemed real, as they were acting naturally.
Spoiler:
The way the cinematographer plays out the 'thoughts' and ideas in his head are stunning. It seems so real.
The story by Charlie Kauffman was amazing as well. I can't really go into the story much, but from what the previews have said is basically the premise of the movie. This will be going up as a contendor at the Acadamy Awards for best screenplay for sure, with other possible nominations as well.

Spoiler:
My take on the movie is if I had the chance to erase bad memories (ex-girlfriends that f**ked up my life), I think I would take it. But the way they present it towards the end would be odd. Like when Kate Winslet's character sees Jim Carrey's neighbor and he says 'Hi Tangerine' but she has no clue who he is... that'd be messed up.

I'm going to catch another preview of this next Wednesday as I want to see it again immediately. Anyone else catch this yet?

I’m gonna get creamed on this…

But I wasn’t too hot on it. I felt Gondry’s visual acrobatics took away from the emotional core that Kaufman is trying to convey. It isn’t a bad film at all, but oddly distant when the central story is about intimacy.

The early reviews have been doing backflips, so I realize I’m going to be in the minority on this one. So be nice!

IMO alert! People crapped all over DREAMCATCHER, but I enjoyed that portrait of how the mind works much better than SUNSHINE.

I haven't seen it yet, but, judging from the trailers, it looks like a combination of The Truman Show and Vanilla Sky, which isn't a bad thing, I actually enjoyed both of those movies. This movie and The Final Cut (with Robin Williams) are probably two of my most anticipated movies right now.

I had the option of getting that poster from a friend. He had 4 different ones. I'm a huge fan of Kirsten Dunst so I almost chose the one she's on, but opted for the one with Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet lying on the ice. I now think I made the wrong decision. Perhaps I'll swap for another. I like 'em all though! Can't wait to see this movie. My most anticipated movie of the year.

Does anybody now the name of the song that was in the trailer? I saw the preview again the other day, but I can't remember the song.
