They played the exact same song? That's kinda weird.

I saw this again last night. The theater was packed...every seat filled except about 3 or 4 in the front row.

After a second viewing I did enjoy the storyline a lot more, but the shaky camera work was even more apparent in this one....it seemed like every scene was like that. I hope they don't use that technique in The Bourne Ultimatum.

I thought it was kind of cool. It put a big grin on my face the moment I heard it.

I agree. I avoided Bourne for a while because I just wasn't a big Damon fan. Hell, he'd been in some solid movies but I just couldn't even fathom Damon as an action man. Then after watching Bourne, I believed it 100%. The character is smart, intelligent, gritty, and not the least bit flashy. While I wouldn't believe him as a superhero, he does this role to a tee.

Not as good as the first, but a decent sequel.

The action sequences flat-out sucked, though. The Big Chase was about as one quarter as exciting as it should have been because the shakey cam, the badly edited quick cuts, and the lack of master shots made the whole sequence literally incoherent. The director, cinematographer and editors all need to be sent to Summer Film School.

I ask because my brother (who has read the Bourne novels and is admitedly a better reader than I am) said that when saw the Bourne Identity that "Matt Damon is NOT Jason Bourne!". Personally, I don't think Damon looks "rugid" enough to be a secret agent. But that's just me.

I've never read the Jason Bourne novels and I haven't yet seen the Bourne Identity. I'll rent it and give it a spin.

Now i haven't seen Bourne Identity, is it necessary to have seen it to fully enjoy Bourne Supremecy ?

cheers
In Riddick you already know the end of Pitch Black. So the spoilers are already there. You should have watched Pitch Black to learn about Riddick and what the secret of his eyes.
In Bourne Identitly, it's a messed up situation as Bourne is still unsure who he is and why he is being hunted. But In Part 2 there is a lot of characters back from part 1 so you will need to know who is who.Just like Bourne learns. If you just watch Bourne Supremacy then you might think the characters are undelevoped. And the story is moving very fast

Loved this one. Not quite up to the first but still very enjoyable. Stiles did a great job with her scene with Bourne. She really looked scared as hell. The shake-cam was there but not as jarring IMO as it was in Man On Fire.

Does anyone know the name of the song that plays at the beginning of the credits?

Saw this last night and enjoyed it immensely. I felt that it held its own when compared with the first.

I saw it last night and I thought it was great.
Spoiler:
I thought they revealed the bad guy a little too obvoisly and early on. I wish they could have left it hanging a bit more and let us know it was someone close.
I like the way they shot the fight and car chases. The wife thought the chase was a bit long(she always thinks that), but she like the movie overall also. I'm glad I bought the Identity last week and saw Supremacy last night.

It is revealed at the end that that is Bourne's (ahem, David Webb's) hometown.
weird, wonder how they came up with that. the only thing that came out of my home town is Brad Pit.

I am lukewarm on the whole Bourne franchise. I just don't find anyone in the films likable. I have no one to root for.

As for the aforementioned Man On Fire, I really liked it, much more than either Bourne films. I hate the shaky cams though, and I found it a lot worse in Supremacy.

i saw this a few days ago and was very unimpressed. it was nowhere near as good as the first one. the biggest problem i had with this was that the plot just didn't seem to go anhywhere for me. the whole time i was just thinking that i really wasn't too interested in what was happening. i hope the 3rd one will be better.

I assume that they will make the Bourne Ultimatum, the third book in the series. I guess they could even extend the movies past that considering they have had almost nothing to do with the novels anyway .
