Stan Winston Aboard Constantine, Not Alien vs. Predator

Moviehole talked to f/x guru Stan Winston who said he's on board the Constantine adaptation but surprisingly will not be working on Alien vs. Predator. What's odd, however, is that Constantine is at Warner Bros. and is produced by Lauren Shuler Donner... did Stan get mixed up?

"Right now, I'm in the middle of working on a wonderful movie over at Columbia – with Laura Ziskin, who did "Spider-Man", called "Constantine", based on a comic called "Hellblazer". I can't say too much, because of a confidentially agreement I have with them, but the script is wonderful and we're working on some great character designs for it", says Winston.

One film Winston’s a little disappointed he didn't get asked to be a part of was the upcoming "Aliens vs. Predator". "I wanted to be involved in that so badly", he confesses. "I mean I created the Predator. I drew him up on a plane ride with Jim Cameron. And then Aliens, I created the Queen. So they're like my babies, so I wasn't very happy that I'm not asked to be a part of it. Pride of Ownership, I guess. Still, I wish them the best of luck, and just hope they do the film some justice".

Winston’s crossing his fingers they do follow-up "Predator" and "Aliens" movies so that he might get a chance to work alongside his "babies" again.

In other news, the teaser poster should be out in the next few weeks.

Oh boy, I hope my dream movie doesn't turn out to be a turd. It sounds like it may be.

I had hope for this movie. While the concept of a versus movie was odd, it had potential to be really awesome. Then they hired Paul Anderson to direct, and then they let him WRITE the movie too. Oh well.

Doesnt look promising and someone on the IMDB site said that Anderson wants it to be PG-13 so take that for what its worth.

Is Stan Winston in charge of both Alien and Predator? He should be right? Cuz he was the one who worked on the originals?

Alien was H.R Gigers design, Predator was stan winston's design based off what Cameron suggested to him that he hadn't seen any monster with crab like mandibles lately also he created the Queen design of Aliens.

In either case, Winston is not apart of this added with Paul freak'n Anderson attached to direct it. :( I'm so sad. So sad am I. :( :( :(

My expectations are down for this movie. I don't think Anderson is horrible(just mediocre) but I do agree he's all wrong for this movie.
