From: You have moved into a dark place. It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
Generally in a ward like that they just turn the bodies once or twice a day, and since Buck *is* the person who was supposed to be doing that, it's likely that no one would find him for hours upon hours even after his shift ended.
And who would think to check IN his car for someone? Have you seen the police investigate something? It could take them *days* to figure out that his keys are missing.
DAYS.

I'm sure Buck has things worked out where he has a large amount of autonomy in that section such that he isn't disturbed. Considering she had no real connections to the world (no one checking up on her) AND she was shot in the head AND in a coma, chances are she had the absolute lowest possible care imaginable in that situation.

Also, I'm no doctor, but I would think that after being a vegetable for four years, she'd have some memory loss, but there wasn't any.

These past few posts have reminded me of one of the funniest parts early on in the movie.
I suppose the spoilers are unnecessary, but I enjoyed using them. I could see this one coming from a mile away, but I still couldn't help but bust out laughing. I had to contain it a few seconds until the joke actually completed to avoid sounding like an idiot in the theater.

Sometimes ... sometimes not. Really depends on the patient.

Care to elaborate? That makes no sense at all.
It's "alternative" and not everyone believes you can do stuff like that (she woulda had to of read it prior to the wedding as well), but was definitly a creative way to help her figure it out.
It's sort of the same way of "How did she know who Buck was? And how could she possibly know to look for a Texas tag in the parking lot?" because she heard it while she was in a coma (as it shows)? but does that really make a whole lot of sense? arguable

Waved her hand in front of the guard's face and said, "these aren't the droids you're looking for."

Heh ... I was going to say the same thing but couldn't really justify it with "logic." Clearly, this was a plane where swords were allowed, though, and it was made obvious, so it's not a plot hole, just an unknown curiosity.

Dude, all flights in and out of Japan and China have sword holders so the samurai can have a convenient place to hold their swords. DUH!
Of course, that's only in first class.

I noticed the swords, too, and brought up that point in the first thread.

No, I believe there was actually a slot next to every seat that was designed to hold a sword (which, incidentally, also happens to be inside its sheath, or whatever). What we're talking about is like a beverage/cup holder in a car. Beverage=sword, cup=sheath, beverage/cup holder=sword holder in plane.
Or something. I think I'll go to bed now.

Kill Bill in the US IS censored. Take it from someone who has seen both the Hong Kong and US versions.
Things I noticed:
There's other stuff that I forgot. But the HK version is DEFINITELY bloodier than the US version. I guess that Miramax had to sanitize it for the US, which is really unfortunate. (hence the B&W to mute the amout of blood on the floor). But if this discussion is already debated to the point of overkill, please ignore my post

If it was "censored" at all it was self-censorship on the part of Tarantino - he had "final cut" on the film, which gives him complete control over everything in the film.

Not sure if we really need spoilers now for the US version here but just in case:
POSSIBLE TINY SPOILER!!!!!!!!
I was curious about the lip bite thing as well. Something definitely seemed cut between that shot and the ensuing one. Any thoughts on that Grimfarrow?
