Thanks alot for the link.
Yeah, it does look a lot more cartoony than the teaser. Makes me think this "MOST INSANLEY VIOLENT MOVIE IN THE HISTORY OF HADES" stuff is being blown out of preportion, and the movie may not have that much difficulty getting an R.

Looks pretty decent, doesn't look outstanding. Then again, it's only a trailer.

then again, I highly doubt body parts comming off via a sword would ever be in a trailer. (with the one exception of ichi the killer)

What I meant was the movie looks more fanciful then dark and gritty. I'm now expecting the violence to be the kind of unrealistic cartoony violence that filmgoers will find more palitible then the sort of violence you'll find in a movie like Irreversible.

That trailer almost seems to want to portray the film as an Austin Powers-type comedy. That's quite a contrast from the first trailer.

All i know is that this film looks to be one hell of a ride. Loved all the camera angles shown, the colors jump off the screen, and the dialogue is badass in a cheezy kung-fu way. Bring on the violence!

I actually thought the teaser and trailer were similar in both character and content. Maybe that's just me.

I agree. This one didn't feel any lighter tone than the teaser.

An Article about the movie, in Time Out New York, stated that the Asian markets will get a more violent cut of the film. (yeah!!!)

damn miramax, damn mpaa, since this is miramax, the only way to get the more violent version is by improting and miramax won't let us do that.

i liked the trailer. looks like a little comedy is included to counter all the major violence we keep hearing about, nothing wrong with that.

That was great. I haven't posted in a while since I'm in the army, but seeing this trailer put, after a long a while, a big geeky grin on my face.

I have no objections to the apparent amount of humor in the film. A green-band trailer obviously cannot even scratch the surface of the orgy of violence in Kill Bill, and the thought of having the most slick-looking exploitation flick ever made laced with subversive-as-shit humor makes me giddy.

I'm only going to watch this movie if I can see both parts back-to-back without paying extra (as in only one ticket price, or one dvd price) - and hopefully the extended cut that the Asian markets get.

Otherwise, I'll just go without.

Dang...to me, that's like saying

"I'm only going to have sex if it's with two Norwegian Blondes with killer curves, last 72 hours, and ends up with me eating a steak off a golden platter.... otherwise, I'm never having sex."

But then again, to each their own...

Figured people might want a better quality trailer.

...uh, no it's not.

The teaser starts with the airplane falling. The trailer does not.

Whoa crap your right. Sorry about blantantly lying in an attempt to undermine your previous post. As an act of contrition I will now put a screwdriver in my temple.

I saw a different trailer before "Dirty Pretty Things" that looked like a friggin train wreck. I'm glad they're not pushing that one. I still like the teaser best. This new one shows too much. I didn't even finish watching it.
