Crumb and Capturing the Friedmans are two must see DVDs.

These 2 docs rule, along with Waco: Rules of Engagement, which doesnt get much notoriety nowadays. And all the films from the recently released Errol Morris Collection, pretty rare to make a boxset of just documentaries, along with the 7 UP series.

Also check out The Corporation, Horns and Halos, My Flesh and Blood, Revolution OS, and the Times of Harvey Milk.

question: is your home theatre setup to playback DTS 5.1 surround sound? Cause to really enjoy IMAX docu's one has to immersed in the sound

- Carl Sagan's Cosmos (made in 1980, so watch it with the scientific updates Subtitles on)
- Cosmic Voyage: IMAX (one of the best IMAX movies. Gives a visual overview of the Universe through all scales of size)

Nature:
- Blue Planet: Seas of Life (anything with David Attenborough is highly recommended)
- The Life of Mammals (David Attenborough again)
- The Life of Birds (David Attenborough yet again)
