Worst Ending Ever?

Which movie do you think has the worst ending ever? I think Rat Race had one of the stupidest, most retarded pointless ending ever but at least it matched the movie. What are some other really lousy endings?

I wouldn't be too proud of that.

Devil's Advocate and any other movie where the whole thing ends up being "only a dream."

I don't know about worst ever, but the endings to Strange Days and The Abyss take me right out of the movies.

I too was disappointed with the ending of Arlington Road.

Spoiler:
Jeff Bridges' wife is murdered and then he is ultimately responsible for blowing up himself and hundreds more while the bad guy (Tim Robbins) gets off scott free. Not to mention the fact that so many variables were left to chance and everything fell into place perfectly for the bombing plan to work.

The ending was quite a stretch, but I guess some people like that style more than others do. Having said that, I still enjoyed the film.

Another ending I hated was "O" (Josh Hartnett, Julia Stiles). The whole thing was pretty terrible, but that ending was utter nonsense. What a waste that was!

I never really saw Devil's Advocates ending as just a dream, more like an endless loop. Oh well, lets see I would definatly say AI. Rat Race also had an incredibly stupid ending.

How about titanic? Such a happy movie and then all those people end up dying, pissed me off.

Dungeons and Dragons, not sure if this counts since the whole movie sucked.
Cast Away (I hated the whole wow I am looking down some roads can we get any more obvious symbolism... just made me want to puke.)

I disagree, I thought Mulholland Drive had one of the best endings.

Mine personally goes to Ghost Ship, a bad movie on it's own rights made 50x worse by the worst ending imaginable.

Agree 100% with Cast Away. Didn't like that ending at all.

I think I might have to go with The Cube. I was really digging the movie and the end just killed it for me. The whole time I was thinking, this is such a great movie... and the end destroyed it for me.

Wow, if you wanted to find anything redeeming about GF III, it certainly has to be the ending. the ending was perfect.

I'll probably get yelled at for this, but I thought the ending for Fight Club was terrible. I loved the movie until the end. Kind of ruined it for me.
