I liked the two TV spots. I guess this one is rated PG-13. I was kinda hoping it'd be a hard R, but I really didn't think that would happen.

An 8 minute preview for Batman Begins is going to be shown during the season finale of "Smallville" on May 18th! I'm not sure what time it will be aired though, because the finale is going to be 90 minutes long.

The thing that most excites me most about the first poster is you can see that the Batsuit finally has movement in the neck (hopefully)!

I LOVE what they are doing for the marketing of the new Batman. I hope it gets people in the theatre. Most people I talk to dont know about the new take on the movie and that the movie is suppose to be about Batman not the villians. A strong ad campagne should help!

MTV has a new trailer up here: http://www.mtv.com/movies/news/artic...05/story.jhtml

Works in IE, couldn't get it to work in FireFox. Supposed to be a quicktime version out later in the week though.

Sweet. Although I never thought that I would say it but Katie Holmes was the worst part of that trailer.

She's the only part of the movie that doesn't have me excited, everything else is worthy of a boning. I can't stand her, she just...ohhh...I don't know man, just something about her...

Katie Holmes has never been that great of an actress but she has been improving so I'm not too opposed to her being in this.

ANyway, great trailer but boy do I hate streaming downloads!

She talks with a baby voice, like Neve Campbell or Jennie Garth. There's nothing more annoying than that.

That's part of it, and there's just something else, something about the way she looks and acts, I dunno, but everytime I just wanna feed her to a batch of hungry lions.

If anyone wants to save the trailer, copy this link and paste it into a program like SDP or something. You will have to play the file back in WMP 9 though. Something about digital rights management.

Katie Holmes is definitely nice to look at (and they didn't call that movie "The Gift for nothing), but she just seems out of place in a Batman movie. Maybe it's because I can't think of her being in something else besides teeny-bopper fare like Dawson's Creek. Frankly, I'd almost prefer if there were no love interest in this movie, but I guess they need it for marketability. Hopefully it doesn't take up too much of the plot.

Why can't they get it through their heads that Batman is not a romance story. It's about pain and obsession. I don't think the guy ever even hooked up with Selina Kyle, did he? (in the comic, not those movies that didn't need to get made prior to this one)

Great preview, I'm definitely pumped for this one!

So, how does that fire-breathing horse fit in there? (It's scarecrows isn't it?) Has it been in any of the comics?
